L-Tech

Tech came out to diagnose the problem and had to order the parts. Circuit board came in after a couple of days. He replaced the bad board and we have had no problems since. Very professional, courteous service.

The guy that runs L Tech is a young guy whom I met about 12 years ago. My house was built in 1984 and the air conditioning system is that old and hasn't been replaced. With my home warranty, I've had 3 separate companies tell me that I was going to have to replace the entire A/C unit. Since 2002, I have not used anyone else besides L Tech and for good reason because he has kept my A/C running like it is brand new. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

My compressor stopped working. I couldn't afford a new unit. They replaced it with a used one they had in stock. It worked for over 2 years when I finally could replace the whole system. Also did maintenance whenever needed.

I could not afford a new unit. He had one he had taken out of another house where he put in a new one. Although he couldn't guarantee the unit since it was used, he installed it for labor only charges. It has worked beautifully ever since!
He has also done other work on inside unit as needed for very good prices over the years.

Overall, the heating problem was fixed even though it took a week just to get the part - my kids went around with red noses and we could see our breath in the house. As far as the air, it did not entirely fix the problem, and when I didn't pay the last invoice for a couple of months, the owner showed up at my doorstep one night and demanded a check or he was going to "repossess the work" he had done. I handed him a check and told him it still wasn't working and he said he had to make payroll so he needed the money. I've since seen him around town and I won't speak to him if I can avoid it.
