Did not arrive when scheduled. Left for lunch after broken part was removed and did not return with new part for over 4 hours. It was a common part he should have had with him.

This company enjoys maintaining an adversarial relationship with their customers for some reason. They are employed by the rental management agency I rent from. Refusing to call their customers before showing up, they basically will show up when they want to. The closest you'll likely get to an appointment time is morning or afternoon. And if you're not waiting outside for them once they show they'll knock on the door once and leave. If you're in the bathroom when they arrive - you'll have to wait at least another hour for them to come back, or re-schedule.
This has been my ongoing experience numerous times for the past 7 months.
My co-workers all have the luxury of receiving a call at work 30 mins to meet their plumbers at the house, impinging the least amount on their work day.
With one simple act, calling before they come by, life would be so much better for all!

"The tenant at [member info removed] street is a very hard man to catch at home. We tried for several weeks to catch him. The rental agent had to finialy make the appointment time. for us to be there. THE AGENT DON'T PAY US TO WAIT FOR HIM TO GET OUT OF THE SHOWER. We took care of the problem. were not told to call before going. As I have said before we tried several times to take care of the problem the gentleman had. If they're not home we can't do the work."

Made arrangements for workers to replace my sewer line early June 2009, with understanding it would be completed within a week. There were no weather delays, but when I returned from out of state with my elderly mother, it was not finished, my back fence was down (and damaged) and there was a huge ditch through my back yard. After multiple contacts and requests the line was in and covered over in August of 2009. Even then, my fence was still damaged to the point that my gate would not close, and my yard was full of rocks which weren't there before. After providing before and after photos of my fence and yard, the plumber advised me to turn it in to his insurance carrier, which I did. When the claim was paid I hired someone to make repairs to my fence and to bring in fill dirt to level my yard to it's previous elevation, so that my gate would close once again.
One addition point, I was the customer service representative and the insurance agency where the plumber had his General Liability, and it was my preference to do business with our clients. This had always worked very well before this incident, and I was very astounded to the treatment I received in this instance.

They asked me if by chance the system could still be under warranty. They were nice and willing to give me the part name and description so I could order it from the manufacturer for free This saved even more money. Then they came out again and fixed in it no time. Always have used them for all my plumbing problems and never had a problem.

The most satisfactory part of the experience was the fact that I was able to obtain a ball park estimate of the cost for this straight foward project over the phone. I was refused this courtesy by calls to other companies without a "service call". Ken's will be my "go-to" plumbing company for future plumbing needs.

Two plumbers showed up to replace the faucet. I made the mistake of not knowing exactly what my husband needed to be done, as this is his bathroom. He talked to the dispatcher and told her exactly what he wanted done and it was written on the work order. The workmen looked at the leaking faucet and told me I could save money by replacing a cartridge. He didn't look at the work order. I hate that I spent that much money and did not get the services that was requested. One of the workmen was professional while the other was not. They appeared unhappy to be on the call. I realize that it may be inconvenient to come after 4:00 but we work.
