They were very good they showed up when stated they would be here and removed old equipment  then the day our unit came in they were out early in the AM started working and stayed all day installing. Returned the next day and finished off the job. They were very polite very clean and very professional   I would absolutely recommend to my friends. Very happy with there service and our new unit.

BLUF: Involved in price gouging. If Jand J focused on retaining customer rather than making a quick buck then their business will be the best in the city.

My bill was $750. $450 was for 10lbs of R410 refrigerant alone. The remaining $300 was for misc work which I am NOT complaining about.

Giving credit where credit is due, I am extremely satisfied with their professionalism and work. My only issue is with the way they exploit and price gouged for the R410A refrigerant. I understand business has overhead cost and they need to make a profit but they are charging $45 per pound is a rip off. You can buy a 25lbs R410A (retain price) for around $100 (search on amazon for R410A refrigerant. this price is as of 1MAR-10APR14). This cost about $4 lbs. I can understand them charging me $8-10 to make some profit but at $45 a pound they are price gouging. Their price of $45 a pound is 11x more expensive then the retail cost of R410A (wholesale price is much cheaper). R410A is the newest refrigerant so there are plenty of supply unlike the older and harder to find refrigerants out there.

The remaining $300 spent on diagnosing and servicing my system (nitrogen flush, vacuum, labor, etc) was fair and reasonable.

I thought that their price was reasonable. I thought that they were professional and they did a nice job. They did what needed to be done. They were pretty much on time.

Every time they come to perform the service check, I am satisfied. I did have a digital thermostat installed once, which made it easier to regulate my HVAC system.

I give them A's across the board and will use them again in the future.

Jay's crew came in a did a very professional job from start to finish cleaning as they went and taking care not to damage anything. They replaced our Heat pump, duct work and ran more duct work for the unit to be more efficient. After they was done installing the unit they spent time explaining how the unit work, the whole house filter and how it worked and when it would need to be replaced and they showed my wife how to program the new thermostat. I forgot to mention they also cleaned the duct work and air returns they did not have to replace and ran duct work for the dryer since the contractor that built our house put it in the wrong spot which had a big part in our initial unit failing. We have signed up for the VIP service so that we know we will have our system always running top notch. Our first months electric bill after getting the new system dropped over $125 dollars and it had continued ever since, this system will pay for itself in this type of savings.

I'm a landlord out of state. I called Jand J near the end of the day for a Central Air problem. They responded that day, and the serviceman called me on sight to discuss the findings and options. Billing conducted over the phone. The renter was pleased with their reponsiveness and professionalism. The cost seemed reasonable.

My wife and I met with reps at the Lawton Home and Garden show this year. Jay dropped by our home on the agreed on date, on time. Jay spent the first part of our meeting evaluating our home, it's current HVAC system and it's future HVAC needs. Different packages, options and price ranges were presented in a friendly, informative, no pressure setting. Jay accommodated our questions with direct answers (in layman's terms). We agreed on a package, price and day/time to start. The installation crew arrive on time and went right to work. There was no smokin'-an'-jokin'...only professional techs going about their business. These guys were not only professional, but they were polite and considerate of our home and our dogs (I kept them inside when they needed to work outside and vice-versa). The work was completed within the original specified timeframe. The inconvenience was minimized by the time of year we decided to have this work done. The crew cleaned up after themselves as they went; there was minimal cleanup afterwards, but that was done to our satisfaction. Within a few minutes of turning on the new system, you could just smell the improved quality of the air inside the house. Thru circumstances, we weren't able to pay for the new system for almost a week after the work was completed. Because my wife kept in daily contact with Jay's office, they were very considerate of our plight and worked with us until they received full payment. VERY nice people!
