 + -1 moreJody started on the agreed upon date, and finished a week ahead of schedule. He arrived early and stayed late (when it was needed). He charged a fair price for labor and materials, and handled his sub contractors well. I will note that we purchased all flooring materials, counter tops, and cabinets, and stove. Counter tops: Counter Intelligence-Lawton. Cabinets: Lowes-Lawton. Flooring: Floor Trader Oklahoma City. Pellet stove: Home Depot-Lawton. We could not be happier with the results.
Description of Work: Removed old sheet rock in living room (20X20 area), replaced, taped, bedded and textured new walls. Removed existing carpeting in this area. Installed suspended floor joists on 16" centers, installed sub-flooring tongue and groove product which brought this area to the grade of the rest of the house. Engineered wood floors were installed in this room, and the "dining" room, by Alan Hanson(sub-contractor) An after market fireplace and chimney were removed and a new pellet stove were installed by Jim Smith (sub-contractor Dba Associated Craftsmen). Ceilings were retextured, and new base boards and crown molding installed. All painting was done by us (homeowners). In the kitchen, all existing cabinets were removed, sheet rock repaire/replaced, and textured. Tile floors were laid in the laundry as well as the kitchen by Alan Hanson. All new base and wall cabinets were installed with new crown molding and trim. Everything was leveled and trimmed out beautifully. New granite counter tops were installed by Counter Intelligence , of Lawton. Sink plumbing was done by Gordon Plumbing.
