We had another service provider service the unit and fix a gas leak late in 2014.  After several return service calls we still could smell gas and the unit was not working properly.  Our guest at Christmas mentioned that our air conditioning was really loud.  We followed up again with the original service company and they told us all was just fine.  All  the while there was vibration throughout the house from the failing unit. 

Enough is enough.  Air Comfort was recommended by a friend.  I called them and described the problem.  They showed up promptly at 8am the next morning.  They immediately found the issue.  The motor bearings and capacitor were bad.  Yes they showed me.  There was sticky goo all over everything.  It came from the capacitor which was leaking as well as oil from the motor bearings.  They cleaned it all up replaced the faulty parts and guess what ... we can barely tell the unit is running.  Oh yes and they found the gas leak and repaired it in just a few minutes.  Yep they showed me the bubbles where it was leaking.

There folks were very professional, dressed nicely and showed me everything they found and discussed options.  They were some of the most open and honest service professionals I have met.  I would recommend them to any and all.

Yes we spent a considerable amount of money, even so we are satisfied customers.  Especially after what we experienced with the other contractor.

Installed a new AC unit. At no charge they even recharged our old unit until the new unit could be installed. That was a real blessing as it was very hot and Air Comfort was able to give us a few days of cool until the new unit was installed.



Please do not confuse Air Comfort with Air Comfort Solutions. I do not recommend Air Comfort Solutions.

Air Comfort Inc. was professional and they followed up and explained things. They were punctual and if they were going to be late they would give you a call to let you know. They were clean and very neat and their prices are reasonable.

I heard about them from somebody I know. I had them out to do an estimate for completely removing the old system and ductwork then putting in an entirely new system. They had the work done within a week and did a really nice job. I will use them again in the future.

When we got the report back from Air Comfort they stated that both equipment, furnace and ac, we're in good shape. The furnace was a 1983 model furnace making it 29 yrs old. Very old for any model of furnace. We were not happy with the way that it was performing and so we replaced it. After the old furnace was out we inspected it further and found a large hole in the bottom of the heat exchanger. This is extremely dangerous being that carbon monoxide can enter the home that is deadly to humans and we have 2 small dogs. It can also pose a fire danger as well. There was an extreme amount of rust and dirt build up inside of the heat exchanger that should have been cleaned out during their "maintenance" check cleaning the furnace for the season. Also on their service to do was cleaning the air conditioner and inspecting the a-coil or evaporator coil. When the old furnace was out of the way and before the new furnace was installed we noticed the evaporator coil was 100% blocked with dirt and hair from all those years of running. This explained why the air never seemed to come out of the vents at all. Also on the inside of the ac were a ton of leaves and debris that should have been cleaned out during the service. Once the evaporator coil was cleaned the ac seems to work okay but the pan underneath the coil leaks water all over the closet. Something else I would have thought would have been checked or at least noted on the ticket. The point of the checks were to see if there were any problems with the heating and air conditioning system as a whole before we purchased this house. A "professional" company came out to look at it and service it and gave their seal that it was in good condition. Now after only being in the home less than 3 weeks I have replaced the furnace and will be replacing the ac within the next week or so. This extremely unprofessional. Very uncourteous and not a service at all. At best it's a slap in the face to us that they didn't care about the job that they are doing. I am ver ashamed of the service they provided and extremely sorry if this happens to another customer. I have pictures of all of these issues I have explained as proof if I could put them on here. Please if this services it's purpose to not have someone else use them, then it was worth my time. I would not and will not ever suggest anyone use them for any service at all and will continue to tell this to anyone that cares about having someone do what they say and are paid to do!!

THE COMPANY IS VERY HONEST ABOUT WHAT YOU NEED DONE AND CHARGE GOOD PRICES, BUT THEY HAVE NEVER ARRIVED ON TIME. THEY DO GET TO WORK AS SOON AS THEY ARRIVE AND ALL THEIR WORK IS QUALITY BUT IT CAN BE FRUSTRATING HAVING TO WAIT.
