Ron does a pretty good job, except that he doesn't always complete all the parts of each job. For instance, I paid him to install downspouts and gutter straps on my gutters. He installed the straps but only one down spout (I needed 3). Perhaps this was miscommunication on my part? I paid him to install pressure tank for my water well and asked that he install an electrical outlet in the well house too. He did install the pressure tank, but left the line to one of my buildings off and did not install the electrical outlet (although the outlet is still laying in the well house). I paid him to apply sealer to my cedar trim. He did a good job applying the sealer (very neat no runs onto my stucco) but missed the cedar trim around a few windows completely. While installing my chimney pipe in the attic, he accidentally stepped on the sheet rock over my dining room. When I pointed this out he did patch it, but has yet to return to paint the patch (to be fair he couldn't get into the house for a few weeks afterwards because my floors were being redone). He installed a hot water tank and water filter in my house, but the fittings on the water filter leak and spray water everywhere when you turn the water on. I've texted him and called him and haven't gotten a reply. He may be having some personal issue or something which is preventing him from getting back to me. In the past he has always returned my calls and this failure to reply seems out of the ordinary for him.
Ron can do good work and his prices are reasonable, but you need to make sure you thoroughly inspect all work BEFORE you pay him. to ensure that everything was done.
