They told me that the noise was the alternator. I told them it was between the engine and the wheel, which was probably the transmission. After much discussion I finally agreed to replace the alternator. Picked up car and it still made the same noise. Took it back to Stuart, got into heated discussion with the person at the service desk, went to service manager, who agreed to reinstall my original alternator and refund the charges. Took car to Bankston Nissan in Irving, TX where they replaced the transmission at no cost to me because there was a recall notice on that transmission.
