I would not hire John again.  Did not show when he was supposed.  Asked to be paid ahead so he could pay his workers.  His lack of business practices does not mean I should pay you for work not done.  Once the work was completed there were issues and never saw him again.

Fixed dripedge but had  some other problems and wouldnt come to fix them. Tell you he would come at given time many times and wouldn't show up. Just gave up on him

There were initial delays in starting the job due to weather and material not being available for various reasons. Once the job finally started there was a delay due to some shoddy work that had to be redone and ended up with some workers being fired and then a man power shortage to complete the job. At the end of the job the owner of the business took our shutters to paint them with a promise to have them back by the end of the week. He took our paint we had purchased to repaint our garage doors with him. We paid him in full when he left with shutters. After three weeks of text messages and phone calls with promises to get them up, the shutters showed up on the ground at the end of our house. There are painted and the paint can was with them. It has now been over a month and the shutters are still on the ground by the house.

I am a first-time home owner and know nothing about roofing. When I found out part of my roof had dry rot, he inspected my roof thoroughly-the same day I called. His professionalism, honesty and promptness was exceptional.
