A to Z Flooring America

After running all over town to find a shade and loom of carpet that matched the carpet in my home, we finally found A to Z. My wife walked in and they took her directly to a carpet that matched. It was on Clearance. Great! We found our carpet. We were asking about installation and they said that all their installers (contractors they worked with) were all booked up through July. I explained to them that this was not good for us, that my son would be arriving back at our house the following week and we had no place to put him, because the flood had impacted both the master bedroom and our spare bedroom and that all the furniture from the spare bedroom and some from the Master was in my son's room. We had to tear down his bed just to get everything to fit. They said they could probably get two of their installers to come in on Saturday to do it and that they would call them and get it set up. That was at 11:30am. So I waited for someone to call me that evening with the appointment time. At 5:03pm I decided to call because I wasn't sure what time they closed. I spoke with Samantha, who was the person that had promised to set this up for me. She said that she was "just getting ready to call me" - (they were closed). She called two installers on her cellphone, while I was on the phone and tried to "persuade" them to come out on a Saturday to install the carpet in my one bedroom. She said they were going to work it in, but they were not sure of the time, approximately 2 in the afternoon. That they would call later and let her know. Great, I thought, it was going to get done. So at that point I proceeded to purchase the carpet that was on clearance and she told me that they were calling back in 5 minutes. Needless to say - I never received a call back from her. At 8:30am the next morning I called. It was a different lady. I explained to her my situation and she put me on hold and came back to the phone stating that the installers couldn't do it on Saturday, but they were going to work it in today, Friday, after they finished a job they were on, which would again - be about 2pm in the afternoon, but they would call her with a definitive time. 2pm rolled around and passed - no call, no show, nothing. I called at 2:35pm. I was told that the installers were not going to be able to make it, that they weren't going to be finished with their job in time. So...I have wasted an entire day sitting around here waiting for nothing - Now I am being told that they are searching for someone to install my carpet on Saturday, as I explained once again that I had no place to put my son when he arrived home next week. I am very unhappy right now, as I feel I was told that these installers would be get it done this weekend so that I would purchase the carpet - which was on clearance. As we all know - there are no refunds on clearance items. So I am stuck with carpet, in their warehouse and no one to install it. Just faaaaaantastic!!!!
