Pick up my furniture to be worked on in OCt and I had to ask him way too many times to finish up. I finally went to his house to see what was up after 4 months of him telling me it would be ready in two weeks.  My lazy boy chair was finishes, but on top of it was piece of fabric, it was like he was usuing it as a table. My other chair, that he had told me he had stripped and ready to cover , was not stripped yet and under a bunch of other JUNK he was working on.

He gave me many excuses which upset me more. Made me feel like
i was so much at the bottom of his list and the commercial jobs were way more important . Not what I like in a contractor.

We contacted Mr. Williams and after a short phone conversation describing what we wanted done we visited him the next day taking one of the four chairs to discuss options and to get an estimate. We went the upholstery route with him because re-caning was going to be too difficult to get someone to do (160 year old chairs, very few people in the caning business). He gave us a very reasonable estimate of $50 per chair seat and said he could schedule the work after we picked out material. We did that the next day and even though he had said he couldn't schedule us any sooner than two weeks he called back less than a week later and we dropped the chairs off. A few days later they were done. They are even more beautiful than I had imagined! His work is meticulous and it brought new life to the chairs. I should add that he got our job done quickly even though one of his assistants was ill that week. For larger jobs I suspect that it might be more difficult to schedule, but for our modest size job we couldn't be more pleased.

I was very pleased. I sent a picture of the chair and he then asked me to pick out a color from a chart which was on line and and thena he called to set up and appointment. When he came he brought swatches of what I selected and was able to match the origional fabric as well as the color....perfect. He then took the chair and ottoman to his workplace and delivered the finished product. Pickup and delivery no charge. He was very professional, his work was excellent and did a few extras.
I definitely will have him do more work for me.

He didn't lie. He is excellent! He did what he said, told me what day it was ready. He also didn't charge a whole lot.
