Brian Webb Roofing put a new roof and siding on my house.
Webb Roofing did the worst imaginable job of replacing the siding. It had ripples and wrinkles running the entire length and circumference of the house. Not a single corner met squarely and all of them were completely distorted and bent out of shape. A messy application of caulk was applied to bridge the gaps and hide the damaged corners, which just made it look
worse. Nails were driven into the metal haphazardly with no attempt to make them symmetrical. The nails created
dents and dings over the entire surface of the siding. Seams were mismatched and offset.
No one with a brain would have found Webb Roofing's siding job acceptable. Brian
Webb agreed with me that the siding his company had installed was a
disaster. He apologized profusely and said he'd fix it, but all he did was have his
workers come over and strip off the bad aluminum. Now he has decided that
instead of repairing the mess his company made, he wants to keep my money and
skip out on the job.
This was my insurance money, paid by my insurance company to be used
to make repairs on my house only.
Brian Webb has many lies, excuses, and rationalizations, but nothing he claims can
change the fact that he was paid $7,000.00 to put a roof and siding on my
house, and that he did not. After the roof, which was about 4,500.00, there is
$2,500.00 of my money left that he owes me. What I've asked is that he either finish
the siding job or refund my money, but Brian Web will not even give me the courtesy of
returning my phone calls. I've made many approximately sixty attempts to reach Webb Roofing
in the past three months.
Webb Roofing has left me with a house without siding, with the chipped paint and rotting
wood, and the leaks caused by leaving the house exposed to the elements for
such a long time
Brian Webb claims that this was a "contract job," and that I owe him all of the insurance
money even though his company didn't even finish what they were paid to do, and even though
I had to turn to other companies to do most of the work. Since then I've spoken with my insurance
company. They told me that just because I hired a contractor to do repairs, it doesn't mean
that I'm under scrict rules to use them to do all repairs no matter what.
They were on time, professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend Webb Roofing. Great job!!! A+++
The upside was the price, the professionalism and the quality of the product. Our salesman helped negotiate with the insurance company to get a little more money (reflecting rise in material prices). He also helped us decide on the proper roof for our house without adding substantially to the final price.
Workers were a little late showing up. However, they worked steadily through the day and completed the job by sunset. They cleaned up thoroughly afterward as well; aside for a few nails that washed down from the gutters, there was no debris left behind.
The only downside: We would have liked to have had a more thoroughly written estimate with brand names, sizes, etc. We were provided one quickly when we asked, but it would've been nice not to have to ask. Other companies who provided estimates provided such written documentation from the start.
The roofing crew arrived as scheduled, worked hard, and were very professional. The clean up was very well done. The total roofing job was completed ahead of schedule.
Webb also completely replaced the shower in our master bath. The job took a bit longer than expected because of delays in getting all the materials (not Webb’s fault). There was one small problem with the new shower faucet, but Brian was there the day we called and got the problem corrected.
This is the second roofing job Webb roofing has done for us, and if we need another roofing job Webb roofing will get our business again.
