The service man took 2 1/2 hours that I could have done in 30 minutes had I been allowed to buy the freon. The reason I know this is because I used to do my own servicing until the federal government made it illegal for me to purchase freon 22. The service man wanted to charge me almost $300.00 for the call. I had a discussion with him telling him he was over charging me. I told him he took entirely too long to perform the service. After I told him I was going to file a complaint with the BBB he finally agreed to drop the charges to $165.00
