I can't say enough good things about Tara, Shawn and the entire Tara Levinson Team. 

We had been working with another realtor, but weren't satisfied with the level of attention we were receiving.  We knew we needed to make a change and then remembered meeting Shawn Ford at an open house a few weeks earlier.  We had really enjoyed visiting with him, but I had lost his contact card.  I did have a notebook he had given me with Tara Levinson's information on it, so I called.  She explained that Shawn works with buyers and she works with sellers, so she would handle selling our home and she put us in contact with Shawn so he could start a property search for us. 

We were only in town every other weekend, so Tara came out that Friday evening, made arrangements for her photographer to come out as well and got our home listed that weekend.  Within 3 weeks we were under contract. 

In the meantime, Shawn had put us in contact with a mortgage company so we were preapproved and would be ready when we found the house we were looking for.  Unfortunately, we were looking for a very specific type of property within a very specific location and budget and they don't come along often.  When we did come up with a couple of listings to look at, Shawn was great to rearrange his schedule so he could meet us on short notice, regardless of the distance or time of day.  When "the perfect property" came on the market, we were out of town.  We contacted Shawn and he met us later that evening to show us the house and get an offer written.  Perfect timing, we found our new home 3 days after the house we were selling went under contract. 

Shawn introduced us to Shavonne, our closing coordinator from Tara's team, and both of them plus Tara were beside us the entire time, handling everything.  We just waited for them to let us know when it was time for us to do something. 

I am not used to handing control over to someone else, especially with a major life event like this, but oh, what a blessing it was.  Shavonne handled any issues that came up and the many, many questions I had.  She guided us successfully through both houses closing on the same day!  I so appreciated her patience answering the many questions I had, her calm attitude which kept my stress level at a minimum and her understanding when I just needed to vent. 

I highly recommend Tara Levinson if you are selling a home and especially Shawn Ford if you are looking for a home.  You will not find anyone better to guide you through this very stressful period of your life. 

We didn't have a massive budget, between $90,000 - $100,000, but Tara never batted an eye and hit the ground ready to get us into a home that we loved. She often picked us up and drove us to each appointment in her personal vehicle. She is a class act and provided excellent service. We purchased our home more than 5 years ago, but I still get emails, postcards and the occasional call or text from her and her staff to see how we are doing or if our family needs anything from them. If you are looking for an agent to represent your real estate purchase or help you sell your home, I think you would be hard pressed to find another agent or team that will be more dedicated to getting you through your transaction more smoothly. We really felt like we were important and couldn't be happier with the process with Tara and her team's help.

I will definitely use Mrs. Levinson when i am ready to sell. I do not live in a McMansion but she made me feel like my house was just as important. Very professional and down to earth.
