We had Suntech out less than 3 years ago to install a complete new system. Small house, so it was 8200.00 and we were loyal to them for years because the owner was a worship leader at our church. He sold the company not long after we had them install our new system. It has been a never ending battle, every 6 months or so, it kept breaking down. Each time we paid. This time the issue was supposedly a warranty part but labor was not covered. They quoted me 1400.00+ to fix it last week. I said, absolutely not! Paid the service fee of 140.00 for absolutely nothing! I called and spoke to a couple of people at the office and got no where. I called Air Factory, operator owned, they came out and the entire system had been wired wrong from the beginning. It took them from 7pm until 9:30pm to diagnose and fix. The air in my house is finally what it should have been all along. Their bill should have been over 600.00 but because of what Suntech has done to us, he gave us a huge discount, ended up costing me 250.00. If you want someone who is phenomenal at what they do, more than fair on pricing and really someone who really cares, DO NOT use Suntech, DO USE Air Factory. I’m speaking from experience.

Pay for a tuneup to get ready for summer. The technician was a nice person but when he left, he said everything was good. The outside unit was working. I know this cause we was outside when I come inside that AC is not cooling my house. I call back and they send the guy back out, he then somehow says my circuit board up top is bad and they quoted me a price of $1200 I knew something was wrong because I have HVAC background from years ago so I called in and immediately the lady says oh no the technician did nothing wrong. Your board just went out and I explained if the board just went out he had to do something because Everything was working just fine so I knew something was wrong especially with the price that they quoted me so I go and purchase a circuit board for my unit for $356. I have someone come out and help with installation from another company. when installing the new one we noticed the same problem is going on with my blower Motor not working so he did troubleshooting and found the boards were perfectly fine. It ended up being the thermostat was bad. changed out the thermostat everything‘s working put the old board back on my house is now cooling. I cannot return the old circuit board because the seal was broken off the plastic package and it was brand new. I called Sun tech back and they still act like oh it wasn’t a problem but everything is working fine with the correct voltage and everything so I am now out of $356 with a brand new board sitting in my house that I cannot use and Sun tech still would not acknowledge that there was a problem on their end that they did nothing wrong. to me that is bad business and especially just would not admitting that either he missed a step or he did something wrong because before he came my unit, thermostat, control boards everything was working just fine now I am out of $356 that I could have used for something else . They did at least refund the $89 dollars for the tune up but I’m still out of $356 dollarsI will not be recommending this company to anyone or using their service again

We're on a maintenance thing so they came at the beginning of summer. No cost at time of visit. They are great. Price is good. 1 worker took half an hour.

I use a group called Suntech Mechanical. We're on a maintenance thing, so they probably came the beginning of the Summer. They're great; I'd give them an A overall and their pricing is good. Their quality of work is great and I think their responsiveness is good. I think just one person came to complete this service and it took a half an hour or so. They come out twice a year since they actually installed our unit so it just kept right up with them.

Very well, My 14 year old system works well, Suntech installed the original unit and has serviced it every year since 2013. Bob and his wife take a personal interest in your home and get to know you, his service techs are on time and know what they are doing. I ask a lot of questions, they will take time to let me know what is going on. I plan to continue my relationship with Bob and his company.

They have done major work on our system in the past. They came out for spring service and did not have the correct filters for our system. Found that unprofessional but gave them a pass. They then came out for the Fall service and it was in January, which again seems unprofessional. The Tech found that the emergency heat was not working properly and was blowing the fuse. He then explained to me that the problem was a bad wire and he could replace it. He did not have what he needed on the truck, I guess. I asked how much he thought it was going to cost. He said he would call me as soon as got back the office that evening. Did not seem like a big deal and he was really nice. Did not receive any phone call that night. Received a bill in the mail for the next installment for the service plan somewhere around 2 weeks later. Called and spoke with Bill. I explained the situation of that they had not completed the last service call to him and he went silent on the phone for about 1 minute rustling through papers. He then said that it had not been filed and he was looking for something. After 7-8 minutes of nothing, no sorry about your wait, no sorry that we have messed this up, I just said for him to call me back when he had figured out the situation. He calls me back and still does not apologize for anything and starts explaining the situation of what was wrong with the system. This information was the same as what I said to him on the initial call. THE TECH also obviously had already explained this to me. He then went on to say well without knowing which unit you have. I expect it will probably cost 7-800 dollars to replace the emergency heat unit. They obviously had not talked about what the problem was, they don't know what my unit is and then lets just makes up a number. Bad management, Poor Customer Service.

Suntech provided the best customer service I've ever received from any tradesperson, ever. We had been talking with the owner regarding replacing an older geothermal system in the downstairs to our home. Bob, the owner was responsive and took the time to make sure we understood all our options regarding replacing the older unit we could no longer get parts for. We talked with Bob on Wednesday, then on Friday our daughter was killed in an accident. Saturday evening the other geothermal unit, which had been keeping the house tolerable quit. We called Suntech Monday morning and within 45 minutes a tech was here to fix the upstairs unit. We spoke with Bob and Val several times that day and they were incredibly understanding and helpful. The funeral was scheduled for Thursday, and we really needed to get the new geothermal unit installed as family and friends were coming from all over the country and it was 90+ still. At 8 am Tuesday morning, two crews showed up from Suntech with our new unit to do the install. The crew was efficient, friendly and very supportive. Several of the techs had daughters and they were visibly moved by our tragedy as they went about doing the install. After finishing the removal of the old unit around lunch, they discovered the manufacturer had mislabeled the unit, and it wouldn't fit. Bob and his crew immediately contacted the manufacturer, ClimateMaster, who is an Oklahoma City based company. ClimateMaster found an upgraded unit in their warehouse, had it delivered to us and didn't charge us anything extra!
The Suntech crew stayed until 8 pm that night finishing the rough install so we would have a cool home and have one less thing to worry about. The crews were amazingly respectful, quiet and efficient. They said several times they were glad to stay and get us up and going, and that they wished the could do more. They kept the noise down, kept everything as clean as possible, and once they left no one had any idea they had been there, except for the fact the house was cool that night.
SunTech and ClimateMaster really helped us out in our time of need, and went way beyond the call of duty to help.
Their pricing, which we had been comparing earlier was competitive with other vendors, and the difference when you are spending this much money really is about service, as most reputable vendors are going to be around the same price for similar equipment. Suntech is simply outstanding when it comes to service, and they have continued to be responsive as we have had issues and as they finished up the details of the install over the last few weeks. You simply can not do any better than Suntech.
Thank you Suntech, and thank you ClimateMaster!

A geothermal Water Furnace was leaking water in winter, turned off unit. Called Sun Tech and was able to schedule service for that day. Servicemen arrived on time. They found the problem and were able to fix in about 1 hour.

He explained what was going on. He got the job done right away, without wasting any time. He also checked back afterwards to make sure that I was happy with what he did.

Suntech's owner, Bob Zemke, came to my home and did a detailed analysis of my heating and air-conditioning needs. I took two other bids. Both of these companies had high ratings on Angie's list, but neither of them bothered to look into the floor ducts in my home. This is an older house (1966) and the ducts were infiltrated with dirt from under the house (which Bob showed me, using a flashlight). This had not been causing noticeable problems yet, but was sure to in the near future. He offered two solutions: to place sleeves in these vents that would cover the problem (probable lifetime for this solution was approximately 5-10 yrs.) or to spend about twice as much for new venting for an entirely new system located in the attic. This included a 2 1/2 ton 14 SEER air-conditioner and a 95% furnace (eligible for a $1500 government rebate) as well as new ductwork and ceiling vents. All of this was bid at a price just a little over the top bid of the other two. The other two companies said they would be in and out in a day. Bob said it would probably take 3 days and it did. Since the installation included cutting vent holes in the ceilings of all the rooms, I had visions of a huge mess and clean up job after they had finished as well as a complete disruption of my household for three days. Bob's assessment was very thorough and informative. We even talked about what to do with my kitties while the workers were here so they would not escape. Suntech did the work in three days, as promised. But each day, they knocked off early and swept and cleaned so that there was no mess and no disruption in my home. The team was supervised by Jim Clark, who is one of the most efficient and well-organized managers I have seen. I have never had the pleasure of working with a company that was so thorough and prompt in my life (62 years!). The system is so much quieter than the old one, I had to go outside to see that it was running! Now, a week and a half later, a Thank You card has arrived, signed by all of those who worked on my installation. If Angie''s list would let you give a AA or AAA rating, Suntech would get it.
