Ken Burger was hired by previous homeowner to install tile flooring in kitchen after she moved out, but befor putting the house on the market. On the day we moved in we saw a small hairline crack in the tile. A few days later we found another one across the kitchen. It appears that the floor was not level when the tile was installed. I called the seller and asked for his contact info... We figured the guy would stand by his work, and since it was a new install that we had been on for less than a week. She called him directly, gave him my number, and asked him to call me. She also gave me his number in case he didn't. Well, he didn't so I called him, left a kind message about the situation and asked him to cal me back. He never did, so it seems to me he figured he could do a poor install since the nice lady that paid him had already moved and would never see the result and make a quick buck. Clearly, he doesn't stand by his work. It's a shame too, because we were looking for a contractor to install another 400 sq feet of tile. Obviously, we hired someone else. His loss there, but ours too since we're now stuck paying to reinstall tile that isn't two months old.
