My first contact was with the Sales Representative James Bliss. James evaluated my existing roof and guttering system, then drew up some estimates of different options that were available. He was informative, patient(because I asked many questions), and thorough. He explained the different roofing systems available, their costs, and the differences between them. He also provided information on optional upgrades.
James was not a high-pressure salesman; he did not try to get me to sign a contract right then. I had the freedom to compare his bid with the others. I also was very impressed by the way he worked with my insurance company to make sure no stone was left unturned. He took a straight-forward approach; if he felt that something didn't need replacing; he told me. This was very important to me. It should also be noted that Red River Roofing Inc.DOES NOT require 50% down prior to starting the job. One estimate I obtained required this! Red River Roofing requires no money down to start the job. This was a major deciding factor.
After reviewing the options, competing bids, and prices, I chose Red River Roofing Inc. because it gave me the best over-all value, and quality for the cost.
Immediately I was contacted by the Project Manager Andrew Holbrook, who had been assigned my roofing job. He set up a time to come and do a pre-inspection prior to starting the job. He was thorough, answered my questions and concerns, and also took the time to make sure my neighbors were informed of his impending work.
The job was started promptly on 10/03/16 at 7:00am. Materials arrived on schedule. Andrew kept me informed of any possible delays, and changes. The roof was completed on 10/04/16 late that afternoon, and the roofing crew accomplished a thorough clean-up. I also noted that there was very little excess materials left; telling me that they gauge their materials accurately. It should be noted that James Bliss also followed up at the job sight to make sure all was running smoothly. The guttering system was scheduled and completed on 10/07/16. The delay was due to weather. The guttering crew was courteous, on-time, and attentive to the details. If there were any questions, they called me promptly.
I am very pleased with the price, quality of work, efficiency, professionalism, and customer service. If I have future roof, or home needs, Red River Roofing Inc. will receive my first call. Thank you guys for great job!

"It is unfortunate that this experience has been brought up with us again over the years. We appreciate the feedback and it has never been our intention to leave a customer unsatisfied. We have tried on multiple occasions to correct the issues through the installation of the roof, which was installed in 2005 and for the warranty period afterwards, which has expired in 2006. Unfortunately this is one case where despite our best efforts, the customer has not been appeased. One of the crew even cleared my gutter corner closest to the chimney. That was VERY appreciated because due to health reasons my husband hasn't been able to climb a ladder.
Next roofing job will go to Red River Roofing. Everyone associated with Red River from office to field staff were friendly, helpful and ready to assist however they could.

Not as happy with their general construction services. Part of the contract called for moving the items in the attic so that they could install insulation and flooring for storage. (Nothing fancy, just plywood.) I wound up doing most of the moving back in by myself, although their boss (Bruce) was nice enough to move the heavier pieces. While Bruce was very responsive, the rest of the attic crew was not as diligent in taking care of the details. For instance, they left some flooring cut, but they arrived late and then left it up to me to install. (Bruce had to come back to finish it.) Stairs to attic stuck after being relocated, but the crew didn't mention it to me. (Again, Bruce had to fix it himself.) Asked their electricians to install a ceiling fan and doorbell. It took way too long and they wired the fan incorrectly. (Their boss had to redo it.) For overall service and price for the attic job, I'd rate a B-.

One slight glitch: gutter covers were put on before the gutter people had replaced the gutters. So the gutters were not replaced. But since they were minimally damaged, I don't see this as much of a problem.
No very large rains or big snows since, so I can't tell for sure about leaks or ice-damming, but there haven't been any problems yet (three months later, as of mid-January).

"the member was correct about the project taking longer than our standard business practice. We appreciated the members patience as we worked through a specification error. Fortunately, during our normal project review process the error was identified, and we upgraded the customer to a TPO single-ply roofing system for flat areas of her roof and honored the original price quoted. The project was delayed as we caught our error and worked to rectify it by ensuring she would receive the best product for her home specifications. The new Allmet Stone Coated Steel roof looks beautiful on her home and will perform great, accompanied by a Lifetime Ltd Warranty from the manufacturer against hail damage, all the way up to 2 ½” hail stones. We put forth an effort of goodwill by providing her with an upgrade to her roof and standing by the original price quoted.
