"[Member Name Removed] you are one customer that never leaves my mind. I have wondered about your health, mind, move and bad divorce all turned out. I knew you were going through some bad times so that is why I overlooked some of your behavior at the time. Plus, I truly wished the best for you. I do apologize but I do believe our memories of the situation are quit different. First, I always collect 40% down from my total bid to cover all paint, materials, supplies and other expenses. I was working on another job when and you were going back and forth to [Member Information Removed] appts but I did not get the deposit until the day before I showed up along with the both of us signing the contract. Your are correct about my hired help. They were beginners which have worked for me one other time and never have worked for me again. I said I would do all the work myself but you asked me to try and get some help because you were going through a bad divorce and wanted to sale the house and move on. You stated to me all furniture and the wallpaper would be removed by your son before I arrived because you did not want to pay my company to have it done. When the 3 of us arrived none of it was completed and your son was not planning on being there until the next day. When he finally arrived he spent all day trying to remove the wallpaper from one small bathroom as I did complete painting the dinning room, entry and living room. I also, remember you telling me how amazing it looked and how great my work was. You were extremely excited and happy. The next day, I waited in your driveway for 2 hrs because you forgot to tell me about a Drs apt you son drove you too. He then was leaving to return home which, left me in helping you remove the wallpaper. I removed what he didn't finish plus two other bathrooms. As all this was being done you decide that you did not like the color that I painted on the walls. You did pick out the color and I had already purchased 8 gallons of paint to complete your home. So I was a bit confused on why you were so upset on having to purchase more paint and pay for additional labor. We both agreed that maybe we should just end the contract and let another painter come in to complete the work. I thought we left on agreeable terms because I would have done what ever I could to please you with out putting my own self out. I have to make a living myself and working for free does not pay my bills for me and my daughter. It really does upset me to know that you were this unhappy. I know I cant please everyone and each customer is a learning experience. Thank you for bringing all of this to my attention. I will use this review to only better my company. Thank you once again!"
