Clearly we were the last stop of the day and they did very little. They left one plug in spa so filter wouldn't operate correctly, although they failed to check before they left.

This company started out with us providing a good service and had excellent office personnel that handled billing and scheduling.

Not so anymore, unfortunately.

The pool "cleaning" consisted of pouring a ton of chemicals in the pool and crossing their fingers.

The office personnel call you "sweetheart" and can't keep the records straight.

Owner seems to be trying to get things straightened out but cannot recommend them at this time.

Very disappointing and frustrating.

Changed sales person from time we negotiated for house with seller.  Prices agreed on kept going up and small things that one man said would be included were not in final contract..  Workmanship in general good but very high priced.

Approximately five weeks after the inspection of the pool by Pool Sharks I had to replace all of the filters for the pool at a cost of nearly $500. Pool Sharks claims that their visual inspection does not involve inspection of the filters. On the inspection form itself one category for inspection is pre-printed filter and type. The inspector filled in cartridge for type.
As a new pool owner we felt all was good, expensive parts subject to repair were inspected and we would be have confidence that the pool we purchased as part of the home was in good condition.
This was not the case. When I spoke with the owner he stated that the inspection only covers the filter housing, not the filters within the housing. I asked how a new pool owner would know this. He admitted his form could be more clear. He reminded me numerous times of the years of experience his firm had and that the error could not be on their end.
I would not use Pool Sharks for a pool inspection, and based on my one experience, I would not use them for any pool service.

Pool Sharks were great to work with. They were very helpful and stuck with the problem to resolve it.

They came at the appropriate time and charged a fair price. They fixed the pool heater however they left the heater in the on position and did not tell us it was left on. On my next gas bill, I received a bill that was $400 higher than usual. I called the owner and told him what happened. He came out and was empathetic. I suggested that we work out a trade for services rather than having to pay my gas bill. I requested that he repair my coping and he agreed. I called 5 times over the next 5 months. When I called in May, the co-owner told me that she could not give me a date of when they were going to be able to come out. I told her I thought this was unreasonable to not even give me an appointment. She said they were opening pools for the season and she didn't know when she was going to be able to get back to me. I called back in June and they never returned my call.

I contacted Pool Sharks and spoke with a person, by the name of Bonnie(?). On 6/3/09, Pool Sharks staff came to our home at 511 Louisiana in Jones, OK. I had requested that my pool be opened and cleaned. It was opened and chemicals were added. However no cleaning was done. My pool had been winterized but the cover was blown of as was some of my stockade fence during the winter. Anyway, the problem is that the pool has a good deal of leaves, etc in it and needed to be cleaned out. My wife signed the receipt stating satisfaction, but my wife is a stay at home mom/grandmother and watches our two youngest grandchildren. Therefore, she was unable to know all that took place and simply took Pool Shark staff at their word. We paid Pool Sharks $331.76 and I have no problem with paying for the service but I expect it to be acceptable. What was done was that approximately $100 worth of chemicals were dumped in, three return lines had the winter plugs removed and the ends screwed back on, the single skimmer basket was opened, the pump filter plug installed and the pump reconnected. This is about 30 to 45 minutes work, I have done it myself in the past. Pool Sharks left instructions with my wife and 13 year old son on backwashing the filter and adding more chemicals. However, after 6 days the pool remained very murky, I then took it upon my self to begin attempting to clean the pool. I utilized a leaf basket and began pulling bag after bag of leaves from the pool. That is when I realized that the Pool Sharks staff had not removed any of the leaves from my pool. In the past I have done my own pool maintenance. However, I am very busy at my job, and I chose to call Pool Sharks to open the pool and clean it. In my personal experience I would never simply dump chemicals into a pool with winter trash (leaves, grass, etc.) and expect it to clear up. In my opinion the chemicals were wasted as the proper prepratory work was not done, nor was there any attempt to follow up. I contacted Pool Sharks via email explaining the problem but we came to no mutual resolution.

Called on Monday and service was scheduled for Wednesday of same week. My main pool company would have taken over a week to get to repair. Tech called before coming and was on time. Repair took less time than I expected and went well. The price on the motor was comparable to prices I researched online from reputable Internet vendors.
