I never heard back from Osborne Roofing in Edmond. I called them 3 times to ask about my estimate after Marty had come out. First call his wife answered phone - but didn't have any info for me. Took message for Marty. I waited a couple of days, but didn't hear from them, so called again and left voicemail. Still no return call. I called one more time and got the answering machine again. This time I just left my name and number.. To this day, they have never returned my calls. I think I understand why Osborne roofing didn't call me back. The company I eventually hired to repair my roof, gutters and skylights had a heck of a time with my skylights. The company who had done them last (Osborne roofing) had installed them improperly - which made it really difficult for the person I did hire to repair. I will tell you the guy I did hire (Do it better roofing) went the extra mile to take care of me. I will be submitting a report for his company shortly - and he will get all A's. But because Osborne roofing was non-responsive after coming out to evaluate the damage tells me they are unprofessional and that they do shoddy work. I'm glad they didn't respond with an estimate - I probably would have hired them just because they were familiar with the roof. I was saved from Osborne roofing by their ongoing unprofessinalism. You don't just "not call" a customer back. Bad business practice.
Description of Work: Following the massive hail storm in late May, I wanted to get estimates from 3 different companies to compare and contrast, and then choose the company I believed to offer the best bang for my buck to repair my damage. I contacted Osborne roofing because the previous homeowners had left me with 2-3 invoices/receipts from Osborne roofing - so they were familiar with my home. Additionally, I contacted a company that was recommended by several of my neighbors who have lived in the neighborhood for years. And finally, I contacted a company that came highly recommended by my local homeowner's insurance representative. Marty (with Osborne roofing) was the first company out to evaluate the damage. I was impressed with his punctuality. Marty used to work for Osborne roofing and is now the owner of the company. He and his wife bought the company from the Osborne's when they retired and now manage the office / company.
