Home inspection performed on property. Recommendations for drainage additions were invalid and unnecessary. We had two professionals in this business tell us the repairs were not needed, French drains that exists on the property adequately handled record rainfall in the month of May 2015.
Recommended siding on the dormers be repaired, we had two pro's tell us that the repairs were not needed or even recommended as this was constructed correctly.
Inspector convinced buyers he was correct and sold his service with not professional support.
Anyone can throw a sign on their vehicle and call themselves an inspector and make a good living with no regulations to guide them and no one to correct their poor recommendations.
Unfortunately, this cost us a lot of unneeded money for these unneeded repairs.
