I liked the final result. They did exceed the budget I gave to begin with which I ultimately approved but it was more than I planned to spend that time.

Mark and his crew were on time and finished the job in the time allotted. They tore down and disposed of the railroad ties, and dug into the ground to place the bottom stones evenly. They used bonding material and rods to keep the stones in place. The original wall was straight across the yard (approx. 40 yards). They designed a curving wall on different levels stretching across the entire yard. Before completing the project they added capstones for a finished touch. They also built two planters adjoining the wall which added a nice touch and gave me space to plant flowers and vegetables! We are thrilled with the work Mark and his crew did for us. We would recommend them to anyone wanting to enhance their yard. We are moving to a new house next month, and we have already contracted with him to build another retainer wall!
