The consultation visit was excellent.  Rod Price (business owner) provided excellent advice on the problems we had and offered excellent solutions.  Installation was on time, professionally executed, and the equipment he installed is as advertised.  I may have been able to get my water heaters a little cheaper, but it was worth a little more to receive the professional advice provided by Rod.

Magic was great to work with.

The owner and assistant showed up on time and got it fixed fast.

They were very friendly and the price was reasonable.

Would use them again in a heartbeat.

I got a quote on a furnace from him in October of 2012. His quote was reasonable for the brand and size of furnace he wanted to install. He did not try to sell me anything I did not need (always be informed before a contractor comes in so you can tell the difference!). I went another route because I had a friend who could do it much cheaper, if I did not have this friend I would have utilized Rod. This is important because many of the contractors who came out irritated me with their spiels to the point where I was ready to escort them out of my house for trying to take advantage of me (i.e. trying to tell me I need a new AC unit too, even though mine is working great and is less than 3 years old).
Rod and his journeyman came out installed a new water heater and brought the water heater setup to city code. He was very prompt and did a good job, cleaned up his work area well. I had another leaking issue with the tank valve and he came back out the very next morning and completely redid his valve and piping work to make sure the problem would be resolved. It has been a few months and everything involving the water heater is working great.
He offered a much better price than his competitors, did not try to 'up-sell' me on anything I didn't need, and overall did a good job.
