The irony is that I had granite installers immediately following Mark and when they departed, the area was pristine, except for Mark's debris. To compound his overcharges and lack of respect for me as the home owner, when I attempted to use my garbage disposal and dishwasher last eve. there was NO POWER. I immediately telephoned Mark and he informed me he had NOT turned on the breaker box. WHY???? I stumbled around in the dark w/a flashlight until I located the correct breaker so I could operate the disposal and DW.
I feel there are electricians whom do provide good customer service and respect for their customer's time, home and money. Mark's lack of these traits has negated any future work from me.
"Dear Mrs. [Removed member name], My sincerest apologies for any inconveniences or dissatisfaction you experienced. Our first and foremost priority is ALWAYS customer service and satisfaction. No excuses for leaving your home without thorough clean up. Again, that is NOT our way of doing business, and again, I apologize. After our first conversation, we quickly worked you into the schedule and then rescheduled at your request. I assessed your list of repairs and prior to beginning, we did discuss that the list would not be completed that day, but that we could address the immediate problems left by your previous contractor. Repairs were made, and upon our departure, you seemed very satisfied w/ the service and the price charged, so your review came as a shock. You informed me that night at 8pm that the disposal wasn't working, and I offered to come immediately and reset the breaker. Your response was "Don't bother, I will do it". I received your email the next day cancelling your follow-up appointment, and tried unsuccessfully to reach you via email, phone, and text, to find out why you had cancelled. MacPhee Electric attempts to go above and beyond to meet ALL of our customers' needs, and if you feel our work did not provide the service you expected, then we are willing to refund labor costs up to 100%. Mark came out with his apprentice son. Arrived early. Very skilled and experienced electrician. Friendly. would engage in conversation, but also paid attention to time, work and safety. Offered suggestions and recommendations. Cleaned up afterwards.
Pretty much punctual, skilled, experienced, efficient, friendly, and customer oriented.
Arrived early. Very personable. Listened to what we wanted done and provided suggestions. Obviously knew what they were doing and did the work in a very professional manner. Very polite and friendly. Would definitely use them again!!
Perfect solution involving the circuit breaker right over the phone
price was quite a bit less than the first company who gave me an
estimate for the same work. Very professional and pleasant.
