KICKINGBIRD FLOWERS & GIFTS

The woman in the store was very friendly and nice. We went through a list of questions, how to deliver, back up information in case there is trouble, etc. This was great. When I started to look at the different types of flowers she told me that the arrangement would be much prettier if I just allowed the designers to create the bouquet. Ok - I said that would be fine. The bouquet was for a co-worker who goes above and beyond her duties every day. The flowers were delivered around lunch the same day. The problem is it looked like something that belongs at a funeral. There were no pretty roses or tulips - what I think of as the pretty flowers. There were some carnations, one or two large asiatic lilies (I think) and some purple statice flowers (I think). These may be expensive flowers - I don't know. There were not many flowers, they were arranged tall and with several carnations poking out the sides to provide width. It just reminded me of a funeral arrangement not something for an assistant to sit on a desk. I clearly told the woman that it was for a co-worker. It just let me feeling ick. I won't use this florist again. The price included an  $11 delivery charge. the flowers would have been prettier if I had bought some at Target and delivered them myself. =(

The flowers were delivered as promised and the recipient was very pleased with the arrangement
