IMPERIAL LAWNS

We were referred by our neighbors for weed & grass fertilizer. Unfortunately, the team sprayed over and killed >$250 worth of premium soil & ornamental grasses, staining our raised bed in the process with the dye they used. These grasses had been established and matured to provide border around our raised bed. Every single grass around the border outside of their spray zone continue to thrive with no damage. We called and talked with Jennifer, who asked for photos which we provided. We were told they would contact "their people" at the extension office & never heard from them again. After waiting the first week, I contacted SWAFL to come out and test the area. Their test results revealed both the grasses and soil had been contaminated by herbicide from two specific chemicals - both of which used by Imperial Lawns. Today, I finally called them back to explain that we still had no word back from them, we didn't feel that they were taking our concerns seriously & that we were cancelling our contract with them. The person taking my call sent my call to Jennifer who said they were too busy this time of year to call me back. She explained that "their contact" took one look at the picture and said they died from a freeze despite the fact that the other grasses outside the spray zone clearly showed thriving grasses. I explained that we had test results proving that they killed the grass & contaminated the soil & how much money this cost us. She wasn't even interested in seeing the test results or rectifying the hundreds of dollars worth of damage done. To be dismissed with no follow-up or effort to salvage the relationship, we have opted to leave this review.

I have been using Imperial Lawns for several years.  I was using another national company but got tired of having to call them numerous times to come out and attend to my grass and weed problems (they performed routine services OK but were difficult to work with for lawn problems).  I gave Imperial Lawns a try and have been extremely happy with them ever since.  They always perform the routine services (6 times per year) when scheduled, and are very good about emailing several days before to let me know when they are coming to ensure pets are put up, etc.  They have also been very responsive when I have needed a service call for grass issues or weeds that pop up or that don't want to go away.  My lawn has been healthy for the most part (Oklahoma suffers from drought issues often), primarily I believe due to the service of Imperial Lawns.

Bottom line:  they are prompt, professional, qualified, and local (I like using local businesses if possible). I have not had the hassles of national companies and the people have been very friendly and helpful.  If you are looking for a quality lawn service at a reasonable price, look no farther than Imperial Lawns.  They may not be the cheapest (and also not the most expensive by a long shot) but they are the best.

My lawn looks wonderful. These guys obviously follow the weather becasue they schedule lawn treatments just before it rains. That way my lawn gets a good soaking. The prices are good and they actually put product on your lawn unlike some other companies I've used.

They were very responsible and the applications have been effective so far. We feel like it was pricey for the work provided and we will probably not pursue it again next year.

They call ahead of time to let me know when they are going to be there. They are fairly expensive compared to their competitors.

They took care of my issue quickly and happy with the service. They are also doing fall fertilization

Imperial Lawns is a great company. They are professional, polite, and watch out for my flowers. I would recommend them to others.
