My Moen Digital IO Shower valve stopped working and needed the replacement installed. The new U by Moen valve is smaller and fittings were different so job for Hi-Tech had to solder pex connectors on valve fittings and install valve. Great job

Great. I needed Joe to replace the fittings for my new shower controller because the old system used larger fittings. I like the flat price rate. No need to worry how long he took to get parts. Also, did all the soldering in the truck which was very considerate considering the cold weather. Great Job.

Electronic water shutoff valve installation

Tech or office dropped the ball. Told my daughter they would let us know on Thursday if the could do the project and/or give us a bill. No contact except bill on Friday and when I contacted them they stated they called, well if they did I didn’t talk to them and no voice message. Worse thing was they said they couldn’t do the job and the house was without water for five extra days do to poor communication

Although the plumbers were great, the leak detector calculated a price of $1600 not including the $300 cost of detecting the leak. He told me it was based on the fact that it would probably take a full day to complete. It actually took 3 hours but the company wouldn't adjust the cost. I would go with another company next time.

For the initial call in February, I had found a leak behind the tub/shower in one of my bathrooms. And, also noticing that there were multitude of various types of piping, I asked the plumber at that time to completely replace the tubing behind the tub/shower with PEX. His attitude was professional but respectful. He even was patient enough to answer all of my questions, as I was watching what he was doing not because I am a micromanager but because I had never seen the PEX tubing before and was interested in its performance and properties. He said he would have to come out a second and final time to finish putting up the faucet, handle, and shower head after the wallboard and tile are installed. The second visit involved replacing the outside faucet for the back of the house because the pipe had burst within the wall. Again, I watched him for a bit to see how an outside faucet is installed. He took the time to really clean out the stuff inside the hole around the old faucet and properly filled it in with brick mortar. He is very efficient with his time and does the work quickly but thoroughly. The last visit, yesterday, was to finish putting the shower handle, showerhead and tub faucet on. After he had told me that there was dust and residue inside the tub drain, I told him I didn't have time to clean it up before he arrived and that I would do it after he left. I didn't watch him do all of the work this time {grin} so when I came back to answer a question he had, I noticed he had cleaned all of it out! I was extremely impressed with not only his plumbing knowledge and skills, but his respect for my house in that he cleaned up after his work was complete. In this visit, he also replaced the outside faucet on the front of the house. When he first showed up, he asked me what was the other thing I wanted to have him do while he was here. I told him the front outside faucet's thread is messed up to the point where I couldn't tighten a garden hose all the way; it seems to stop about midpoint. He tried it with a piece of hosing he had, while cleaning dirt out from the thread on the faucet, but this didn't work well either. He then noticed two small knicks in the thread that he thought was causing the inability of the hose to properly connect. As with the back outside faucet, he took the time to really clean out the old silicone (there was alot of it!) and ensure the hole was wide enough to allow installation of the new faucet and inside piping. He then cleaned up and took away all of the silicone and other debris from the outside faucet replacement. I can't say enough about this plumber and the company. All calls were taken with respect and asked me questions to ensure they understood what work needed to be done. This is a very thorough, knowledgeable, and respectful company!!

The hi-tech employee was very professional and very personable. He was very thorough and did a great job under some very adverse rain conditions. He went the extra mile to keep my household clean. He explained what he had found and answered all my questions. I will definitely use them in the future for any plumbing issues.

Easy for them

I placed a request for a clogged pipe in my kitchen. I received a call from a CSR and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Before the serviceman arrived, I was given a call to let me know he was on the way. Brian arrived on time and upon checking to see that what I believed was a blockage deeper in my pipes than just a simple clogged drain, he did in fact confirm that I had a blockage well past the u-bend under my sink... he went right to work and had my pipes cleared out and my drains working freely within 30 minutes... I was VERY happy with his work and professionalism... the price was a little more than I expected but that was my fault for misunderstanding the CSR. I was told that there was a fee for coming out to find the problem and then if work was done it would be more. I thought that meant that the fee for coming out would be included in the price of the services rendered like it has been with other services I have had done after the servicemen came out and given the estimate and then I had them do the work. But, this place is different. The cost of coming out to give an estimate is NOT included in the service costs. I could understand paying that fee if I did NOT have them do the service they were giving me an estimate for. That wasn’t made clear up front and it is the only reason why I can't give a perfect score. Granted, it is a misunderstanding on my part. But, that really should be made clear before hand! The charge for coming out was $89 and then there was a hourly charge of $108 per hour. You pay for the full hour no matter if it takes them 10 minutes or 60 minutes. I will still use them if I ever need plumbing services again.

A Very quick and excellent service

The service was outstanding. First off when I called the number the ladies on the answering line were awesome and helped me get someone out that day. I had a time conflict due to my work and they were able to accommodate quickly. Once the Repairman (Joe A) arrived he was exactly on time and even a little early which was great. He went directly to the source to identify the leak from the ceiling which was coming from a leaking shower knob as well as the siding. I was so scared because I thought a pipe might have exploded or since it had been raining so much the last couple of days it was coming from somewhere else there was no telling because I just had someone mess with my gutters as well. Anyways he even took part of the wall off behind the shower/tub to assess the pipes and to see exactly where the issue was. He was so professional and kind and you could tell he really wanted to make the issue was resolved and wanted to make me feel comfortable about the issue because I literally was so worried since this was my first house and was freaking out a bit. He fixed the problem and said if I had any issues to just call them back and they would resend someone out. Lovely company to work with deff worth the money to have peace of mind. I would recommend Joe, but I am sure all of their guys would be great.

Joe came in, he was professorially dress. My dog was barking a lot, he made the dog fell safe. He found the leak under the sink. We needed a new disposal. Joe gave me the price in advance and I agreed. Then he left to get the new disposal and installed it quickly, took the old one with him and left area very clean. Thank you Joe.

We had one of our hot water heaters go out on a Saturday over a 3-day weekend. They came out immediately on Saturday, and were immediately upfront - their supplier was closed, it would be Tuesday before the repair was ready. We initially decided to do a tankless hot water heater, even though it would likely be in the $5k range. Given some of the issues relating to routing in our house, they advised the cheaper route. The work was flawless, and I will hire them again to do more work.

Excellent. I sent a review to Hi Tech directly noting the names of the folks who did the work. They were great. On time, knowledgeable, thorough, and cared about their personal reputation for good work as well as the company's reputation for good work. Definitely re-hire company.

Clog removed and bio-friendly drain treatment sold at internet-comparable price to prevent future clogs. Friendly, answered questions & did a good job at cleanup.

It went fine. They had to dig up the backyard. I’ve heard they are a little pricey, but they did good work.

I think they should get a high rating including with their price, it was very fair and superior than others in the area.

Slab leak locate was excellent. Leak was under tiled bathroom floor. Repair was dissapointing since in accessing the leak they jackhammered the tile and broke a lot more tiles than they would if they had grinded out the grout and chipped the tiles away before breaking the slab. In another review a client praised them for disturbing so few tiles (one 12 by 12), but I did not receive the same precise treatment. I have 4 spare tiles, but they broke 9.
