"We responded as quickly as possible to look at the faucet in question and and saw nothing wrong with installation but yet the connect had come apart. We assisted as we could to clean up before the insurance restoration people arrived. The ferrules were installed per the manufacturer instructions. And I inspected both fittings but left them as found for insurance investigation. We worked with this customer to install products they purchased and worked over a weekend to try to keep them on schedule. We have installed hundreds of faucets w/o issue. I fully understand the customers disappointment with this but we acted as a responsible business and reacted to the issues and provided our insurance to assist information as soon as requested. I cannot speak to the second flood as we were not the last people working on that faucet as clearly someone from the restoration would of re-assembled the parts. Again, we regret the situation but we did install these per the manufacture specifications."
DO - write up a list of tasks / what needs to be done;
DO - make a copy of the job list and use it to walk with them when you point out the job(s) you have;
DO - give as much detail as possible when discussing your job; e.g., paint colors or quality of materials. Some people want things done on the cheap; others want the work to last as long as possible. Did you know, for example, there are different quality levels of
caulking?
DO - expect a reasonable wait for the job to begin once the estimate is emailed or otherwise provided to you and approved;
DO - ask for paperless estimating, invoicing and billing; so much easier to manage.
DO - exercise some patience when calling their office; this small office gets busy sometimes; but they do practice truly great customer service
DO - give the estimator and the staff notice of special considerations, as applicable; for example, sneaky meowers who might want to
scoot outside when a door to the garage or front porch is opened;
DO - make time when they are available so that your work can be completed sooner, once the estimate is provided.
DO - pay Handyman Pro as soon as the invoice is provided;
DO - come to Angie?s list and write them a few words after they have completed their work, even if you are a tough evaluator or they
do not live up to your expectations; one cannot get better if feedback is not received
DO - pass on Handyman Pro?s contact information to your friends which might need top notch services around your home.
DON?T - hold back with your needs. If they cannot do the work, they do have craftsmen and women in their Rolodex who are also highly skilled. And no worries; one invoice is provided for all services.
DON?T - worry about the work. Handyman Pro office and trades staff do a really great job that will give you peace of mind, important in today?s lack of quality in workmanship by many companies.
