Nine weeks without a working dryer. Three failed visits. A month for the first appointment, then 15 days, then 10 days, now another 10-day wait. Every call means 20?30 minutes on hold listening to ads about their ?empathy? and ?genuine customer service.? The reality? Zero competence, zero accountability.

I received an automated call about 20 minutes before the repairman arrived, stating that he was on his way. The repairman arrived promptly and put shoe covers on to avoid messing up the floor. He was very professional and diagnosed the problem in about 10 minutes. He also gave me the advice that if that didn't fix the problem and I had to have more work done, it might be more economical to buy a new washer. I thought that was honest.

We were not aware of this company before doing an internet search for certified KitchenAid appliance repair services. They recently opened an Oklahoma City office in addition to their operation in the DFW area. We made an appointment over the phone to diagnose the problem. As promised we got an email confirmation about a service time window accompanied by a photo of the technician, Rick, who would be doing the work. That's a great idea. Again, as promised, we got a heads up call about 15 minutes before Rick arrived at the house. He was very professional throughout our experience. We were impressed that he put shoe covers on before entering our home. Rick quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty control panel and thoroughly explained the reasons for that conclusion and the options to fix the problem. A part was ordered and an appointment set up to make the actual repairs in two days. Same process as before, a confirmation email was sent to us and a notification call made just before arrival. Rick, the same technician who diagnosed the problem also made the repairs. Good policy. Everything was handled very professionally. Our oven and microwave were back in working order and we were impressed with Guinco, our newly discovered appliance repair service.
