They were excellent. It was a huge tree. They had the equipment, the people, and price was like half or less than the others. I got like 5 estimates. They weren't the cheapest, but they were close to it. They had the equipment, I mean they had the cherry picker out here and everything. We were worried about the neighbor's house and didn't have to worry. They cleaned up, they did not leave until it was done, and it was an 8 hour job. It was massive, it was out by our house. It was a huge tree and it got a disease that we couldn't save, so it was removed.

They did a great job! Also included in price was stump grinding each tree. We were taken back by the price since all estimates prior to this tree service were $2500.00 to $3,000.00 just for the 60 foot elm. We were very impressed with their work and cleanliness after the job. For an extra $400.00 they trimmed all our trees in the front yard as well. I would definitely call them for any future work we may need.

They removed a 25 feet tall dead tree. I give them all A's.

Leonard was very prompt to give an estimate and came back the next day to do the work with his crew. I had him remove two really large cedar trees and several smaller ones, trim my oak trees in front of house and clean up some brush on the side of the house. He and his crew did a great job and cleaned up after their work; I would definitely use him again.

I have used Leonard several times over the last 10 years. Initally, he responded to my friend's tornado ravaged acerage. She was so impressed when his crew raked every stick when they cleaned her five acres. Many of my neighbors have also used him for tree service as well as other projects. He is very knowledgeable, experienced and a creative problem solver. He always does more than expected. His crew is capable, hard-working, pleasant and leave a very clean worksite. His prices are fair and he shows concern for his customer's satisfaction. I would never trust or use anyone else!!!
My most recent experience was the removal of over 100 dead trees and stumps along with several large cedars and trimming the remaining trees 10 foot up the trunk. His crew worked quickly and efficiently. They removed the tops out of two very large trees. One of those was right beside a propane tank. The crew worked delicately to remove half of the tree without damaging anything.

I was most impressed with them. They were professional and showed up on time. They did a great job. There weren’t any downfalls. I would recommend them to others.

He was reasonable, and he had a boot to go high up on a tree, and he carefully lowered the limbs with the rope, and he is licensed, and bonded, and he has his own private business, and made sure that no one got sued because it was leaning over the house next door. Leonard Baca was the guy who came out, he charges $1100 a tree, and I know some people who take advantage and charge $2800 for a big tree. He had to grind and did up roots in my yard. He does trimming removal and stump grinding, and bobcat builder services, and chipper, bucket truck, construction clean up, and demolition. He knows how to get the tree down, and he has a lift up boot, like the electric company does, and he did a good job for $1100, as another guy had given me a quote to charge me $2800, and I said good bye to him. He missed one of the roots I told him to get out, and I had to pick a hatchet and shovel it out when I saw it the other day, when I was digging in the ground, I had to get somebody to haul the rest of it out, and he did not also get all of it that was in the corner of my houses, and there is still a root in there in my ground, and I probably have to pay some one $100 to get the rest of it out. It was a darn good deal for a tree that was over a 2 storied house, and he also had a root grinder a big blade that goes down and kills the root.

No problems. Crews did exactly what was requested and left site clean.

I contacted Leonard and he came out within a couple of days and gave us an estimate for the 60 ft Elm for $1,800.00 and that included stump grinding. We agreed to this and he came with his crew on June 3rd, 2011. His crew set up and got straight to work. This Elm was near our house and covered one end of the top of our home. So not an easy task however they made it seem simple. While there, my husband asked for a bid to cut 4 black jack trees down for us and also trim some other black jack's we had also including the stump grinding and he quoted us $900.00. We had a couple of Black jacks my husband had already cut down and he also said he would grind the stumps on them as well all for $900.00. We were shocked at the price and very appreciative. They were there all day 06/03/11 and came back on the following Monday and finished the job. They were very professional. To our surprise the price included removing and putting our fence back together so they could get their equipment in our back yard and clean up. It was like they were never there but the trees were gone. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

Superb. He charged about 1/3 of the other estimates. He came with a crew of 4. The tree was overhanging 2 houses. They scaled this mamouth tree and removed short sections at a time. Cut it all down, left a mulch pile after grinding the stump. They were done in about 4 hours. Hauled away everything and cleaned up perfectly. Dont think I've ever seen such a perfect job.
