Do not take your animals here! I took my 2 dogs to get their vaccines updated and they fed them beggin bacon and some other cheap crap that is terrible for dogs the whole time we were there just to give them a couple of shots. I dropped them off at home and when I came back from work it caused them to have diarrhea and vomit all over the living room. Then today I take my dog to get a nail trim they said would be $15. I held him so they could trim his nails and they charged me $25 because they had to use restraint??? I was holding him and it only took one vet tech to do the job. Then when I talked to the owner about it he told me I should find a different vet very rudely.

I am really impressed with them.  The vet is wonderful.  He is very good with the animals. The animals respond to him very well.  His prices are reasonable.  The staff is great.  They are friendly and patient.  They are very thorough.  I have been taking my dogs there for about eight months.

We switched to Dr. Chris. He was very attentive and always followed up with us. He continued to prescribe medication Von. He continues to monitor and follow up with us to this day. He verbally follows up with us after every appointment. He is also available at any time.

I found them on a recommendation. Chris is just an amazing doctor and is very attentive to the pet's needs. The staff is all very knowledgeable, very interested in service and is a great group.

I had scheduled this appointment about a month in advance. When I arrived at the vet clinic there were about five other customers and their dogs in the waiting area (which is very, very small). There were a few children in the room, about 7 adults, and about 7 dogs (not including the ones behind the counter that were being taken care of by the clinic). Many of the other customers were fine, but there was one in particular letting their three dogs have too much space and be too wild. It agitated other dogs (including my Beagle). I ended up waiting about 45 minutes for to see the vet (again, I had this appointment time set for about a month). My dog is not used to other dogs, and doesn't like cats (the clinic had one roaming around). It was a bit stressful for me.
I feel like they should have scheduled the appointments better so that this did not happen. I can only assume this is not the first time because the workers acted like this was not new to them.
My visit with the vet was fine. He gave my dog his shots, asked if I had any concerns about my dog (I did not), and then I was on my way.
I may end up trying another vet that some family members use. I used this one because it was fairly close (about 15 minutes away), but there are others that aren't too much farther I could use.

The staff at Gentle Care could not have been more friendly! They took such great care of our dog and even called us the next day to check on her. We are forever clients :)!

They are very good to use, you can basically call them up at any time and they can immediately fit you in last minute if there is something going on. The doctor you see there, Dr. Chris, he is really good with animals. Their hours are good, their prices are really good. We went in there once before with something small and he didn't charge us. Not typical for anything medical. It was really good in that aspect.

I took my new puppy to see Dr. Rispoli (Dr. Chris as I was told) today and I know that most companies would try and wow you on the first visit so it's sometimes to get a real feel for them until you've been a few times. But there was something about Dr. Chris and his entire staff that I knew was head and shoulders above any other vets I've visited in my adult life and I've had some wonderful vets in the past. I've grown up with and had dogs all my life and vets are not a new thing and I've never had one give me their personal home phone number on my first visit with the instructions to call ANYTIME and he stressed that it didn't matter if it was Sunday or 2am in the morning, I was to call him. Dr. Chris came highly recommended by a co-worker and he lived up too and surpassed every expectation I had. I look forward to having Dr. Chris and his staff serve my animals for years to come.

They have been my veterinarian for about 3 months. They are very caring, fairly priced, and clear with explanations.

I originally called to set up a general checkup and ear cleaning for my two basset hounds. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful, and were able to get me an appointment that fit my schedule for both of my basset hounds at the same time. The office is very pet friendly, with very few things they can tear up. There is only one exam room, so you aren't shut in a room waiting for the vet to show up. Dr. Chris personally does each exam, which was a pleasant surprise. He was very good with my girls, they both love going to his office now because of the wonderful experience they have each time.
After the first visit, I set up an appointment to have my younger girl spayed. Scheduling was not a problem, again they were willing to work around my schedule. I dropped Zoey off Friday morning for her surgery. I received a phone call Friday afternoon, around 2:00, from Dr. Chris himself, giving me an update on how she was doing and how her surgery went. Needless to say, that set my mind at ease. I called again that evening, (nervous puppy parent and all), Dr. Chris came right to the phone and had no problem talking to me again. They keep all of their surgeries overnight to watch them closely. I picked up Zoey at 9:00am on Saturday. Dr. Chris met me in the lobby and we both ended up on the floor petting Zoey while he rehashed all of her progress. I did have to take her back 2 days later for a check up, because I was worried about a bruise she had on her belly. It ended up being nothing, but Dr. Chris didn't charge me to see her. He said that any time I was concerned with something regarding her surgery, I could bring her in, no charge. He then called me a few days later to check up on how she was doing.
Long story short, I believe that Dr. Chris is one of the best vets I have ever encountered. He honestly enjoys his job, and it is very obvious from the moment you walk into his office. He makes sure you can always get a hold of him if you are concerned about your pet. Day or night. He cares about the animals first and foremost; it is important to him that the animals feel comfortable.

YIPPEE!! I have finally found a vet I would recommend to friends!! We moved to Edmond a year ago and this is our third vet! I am so happy I decided to leave our other vet office and see Dr. Chris. My poor little girl was having accidents in the house and our previous vet said it was just because of the Cushing's disease and we should just put her on valium to keep her stress levels down. After taking her to see Dr. Chris he told us that she had a horrible bladder infection, gave her 2 shots and antibiotics to start on. The infection was so bad we're on our third round of antibiotics, but he hasn't charged us for subsequent office visits. These charges were for medication, urinalysis and an xrayto rule out kidney stones. She's not 100% yet, but I feel confident Dr. Chris will be keep calling to check on Mollie (he calls all his patients personally) and won't let us go until she is completely healed up.
Our other pup had a mass on her face that was questionable, with her history of mass cell tumors we decided it was better to be safe than sorry. Dr. Chris removed the mass (which turned out to be benign) and was so careful with the sutures you would have thought our pup went to a plastic surgeon to have the scar removed.
His practice is a little crazy at times with so many people wanting to see him, but I think that's just an indicator of how many people trust him with their pets.
Can't recommend him enough!!

They're great! They're so personable and interested in the welfare of my cat. Dr. Chris always calls to follow up to see how my cat is doing. I've been using them for a couple of years, and I'd highly recommend their services.

Our kitty somehow injured her leg and was limping around the house, followed by over a day of hiding out under the bed. We found Gentle Care Animal Hospital on Angie's List and gave them a call--they were able to get kitty in same day. Dr Risoli gave her a thorough checkup, including analyzing her urine, which showed she had a urinary tract infection (in addition to her hurt leg). We caught her up on required shots, her gave her more to help her infection and leg, and off we went. He told us that any follow-ups for the same issues do not incur additional office visit fees--awesome. He also called us three days after the appointment to see how kitty was doing. After just this one visit, se love Dr Risoli and highly recommend him!

Procedure itself, was very quick, thankfully. I was'nt crazy about the razor,as this frightened my pet. But I understand the necessity.

Wonderfully. The staff was professional but friendly, the clinic had several live-in cats hanging around (always a sign of a good vet, IMO), and even the other patients in the waiting room were friendly and conversational. Dr. Chris was great at his job, very friendly and listened to my concerns, and did exactly what I asked him to do without trying to upsell me on other services and procedures. I think I've found my new full-time vet.

We just moved to the area. We needed to get all three of our dogs vaccinated, well checked and one had a chronic condition to get looked at. Appointments were flexible, even with three dogs and being new to the practice. Office staff were very professional and friendly. Dr. Chris was amazing. He acted like he had been buddies with my pooches since puppyhood even though he had just met them. We discussed the cheapest way to get all the necessary vaccinations and parasite prevention. There's no cheep way to keep the dogs vaccinated, but this has been the least expensive for our family as long as I can remember. Dr. Chris gave me his personal cell number just in case we ever needed after-hour care for any of the dogs. I know for a fact we will be going back.
