ENTERPRIZE ELECTRIC

After a less than acceptable experience with another local ( Edmond area) electric company ( Faith Electric - see my review), we were given a recommendation by a family member to try Enterprize Electric. In short, it was a great experience from beginning to end. For one, unlike the previous company we used, Enterprize came out to see what we needed done so as to give us an accurate estimate as to time and cost and make sure their employees arrived with everything they needed. We needed about a days worth of work and they scheduled us in within 48 hours. I was quoted a rate of $95/hr. and that included two workers. I was also asked what my budget was so that if they felt the job was going to take longer they could let me know and I could prioritize my list. When they arrived they were on time and in a well marked vehicle. The employees were professional, pleasant, well groomed and didn't smell like cigarette smoke. The owner showed up on site to make sure the electricians knew exactly what they were going to be doing. Projects Completed: 1.) The biggest job was to place an electrical box in the ceiling in the dinning room for a chandelier. The ceiling had to be cut into in several places, support beams drilled through and wire pulled. Additionally, the chandelier was very long and fragile with 6 chains dangling from it with hand blown glass and Edison bulbs. Each chain and accompanying wire had to be cut to length. 2.) A dimmer was then added to the chandelier. 3.) Another dimmer was added to the kitchen ceiling fixture I had previously had installed. 4.) An electronic timer toggle switch was installed where the traditional on/off toggle switch was for the porch light - so that now our lights will go on/off at dusk/dawn. 5.) An electrical outlet was added to an upstairs bedroom closet. Wire had to be pulled from an adjacent bedroom through the attic. 6.) A junction box was identified in the attic as a fire hazard ( not secured to a beam and uncovered with multiple sets of wire exposed). This was secured and covered. 7.) A decorative light post at the end of the driveway had to be trouble shot ( would not come on). Ended up needing to be rewired and a photocell added. All seven projects only took 4.5 hours and came to $517 with parts. I felt the jobs were completed excellently, timely and at a very fair cost. I will definitely do business with Enterprize Electric again.
