Tim was professional and knowledgeable with a great attitude. He was able to accept the job on relatively short notice, a few days. Tim should have given himself more margin to show up on time. He had a personal function to attend that was over about 10am, the time he said he would meet me. I got a text at 10 that they were heading this way. He showed up closer to 1045. A large part of the expense was running the wire to the other side of the house.

He recommended an excellent unit which he promptly and very professionally installed. His service charge was very reasonable. He is very careful to keep the area clean when coming and going and when the work was finished. A great guy to work with. Highly recommend.

We have used Enlighten Electric for just about everything electrical at one time or another. Tim is honest, courteous, attentive, and gets the job done correctly the first time. We have used him from everything as simple as changing switch locations to upgrading panels and wiring pool lights and electricity with panel upgrades. We have never had any issues or necessity for follow up calls for the same issues. Tim is very competent and attentive, he takes in your overall goals and offers solutions or alternative solutions if there may be better ways to accomplish the task that the layman may not be aware of. Tim Hilbern of Enlighten Electric is my go-to electrician! Always prompt and courteous, quotes a fair price and never exceeds it. He always leaves our home better than he found it. We've used him for landscape lighting and additional outlets, pool lighting, and to add a 200A panel inside as well as a dedicated pool and spa 100A panel and switches outdoor. Tim was professional, punctual, and right on with his estimate. He was proactive with the company that was drilling the well by calling to double check the time frame. I would definitely hire him again.

Perfection - this is how working with a contractor should be. Good communication, respect for people's time and the ability to quickly solve the problem at or under budget.

The men came and estimated what they would need. They left to get the equipment and came back. Then the clock started. They pulled the meter and found aluminum wire from the meter to the first board. They replaced that with copper to bring the house up to code. They replaced the outside panel board and then started on the inside one. While one man worked inside the other was rerunning the circuits to new breakers outside. He checked the grounding rod connection to see that it was tight and the whole rod moved. The rod was supposed to be five feet long and sunk into the ground. The original one was 18 inches. They replaced the grounding rod, too. They finished up inside as well. I was very happy with the work that they did. They were open and honest about the existing wiring and other issues.
