Ed and Tom were fantastic! They came to the house, got all the locks fitted to match our newly installed front lock (connected to our security system), and they were so professional and great at their craft. They cut four extra keys for us, and encouraged us to try out the keys to make sure the locks worked well before they headed out. I had trouble with a few locks prior, because they were screwed in too tight, and Tom made sure to adjust them so I didn't have any trouble with any of the locks moving forward. (And he was very sweet with my yippy dog Peanut.) I would strongly recommend these guys!!

Tom Humes provided outstanding service. He re-keyed 8 locks in my house so they would all work with one key. He also noticed that two doors did not close properly, so he adjusted them so they close smoothly and lock completely. He was courteous, efficient and I thought his charges were very reasonable for the work performed. I would highly recommend Humes Locksmith and would definitely hire again.

I have called on Ed Humes Locksmith Service several times for work on our house. I purchased cabinet hardware from them at comparable internet prices. They installed new locks on our sunroom doors. I called on them recently to install new locks and handsets on our exterior doors and also replace a few interior door handsets. We are now in the process of installing all new handsets on the rest of our interior doors. The Humeses sell top-of-the-line Emtek products as well as lower-priced quality hardware. This is largely a husband-wife team business, which is kinda wonderful these days. Plus, I like to support local Edmond businesses, especially ones that do a great job. Sonya and Tom Humes (Ed’s son) are both personable and professional. They are also fast and efficient. I am amazed at how nicely our new door handles turn, deadbolts open and close smoothly, and doors close properly. You can count on Tom and Sonya to clean up after themselves, too, after drilling and cutting deadbolt holes and setting locks. When they schedule you, on the day of the appointment window—as most reputable in-home service folks do—they call you 30 minutes beforehand to confirm their ETA. I understand that they also donate hardware to Habitat for Humanity. I am pleased with the quality and service of Humes Locksmith Service. I highly recommend this company.

My experience with this company was excellent. The first positive thing that happened was that when I called the company, a real human being answered the phone. I asked for an appointment time and they set a time for two days later. The locksmith arrived on time, his truck had the company name on it, he advised me of the best options to address my concerns, did all the work I requested, and charged a reasonable price for what was done. He was very pleasant, informative and professional. I would definitely hire this company again.

The process went very well. He came out as scheduled with a call ahead to advise us that he was on his way. Performed in what I considered a very friendly and professional manner. Also checked other doors making a few adjustments. Every thing works well now.

He seemed to be a nice guy and he did a good job. He wasn't perfect but then nobody is. They spent a lot of time with us planning what we wanted and they did a good job. It was expensive but then all the handles in the house it would have been expensive no matter who did it. The quality was super.

It went quite well. We called and talked to Sonja who asked us to text photos of the handleset from both sides. They matched our brushed nickel handle, and Tom brought the exact parts. He also checked out another problem door handle and gave advice at no additional charge. He was professional, personable and a clearly skilled locksmith.

Excellent service. He unlocked the boxes in under 15 minutes for an extremely reasonable price. The last time this happened, the other locksmith I used had to drill the lock, broke the drill, and it was a huge mess and took forever. Ed Humes was quick and easy to deal with. He also didn't open the lock boxes, just unlocked them and had me open them, which I think is really good. Overall, a great experience.

Tom and Sonya were very professional during the service. I had the car towed to their shop late Friday afternoon with the knowledge that they wouldn't' work on it until Monday morning. Sonya called mid morning to tell me that it was going to be a lot more extensive work than originally anticipated and gave me the estimate of $600-750 and that it wouldn't be finished until Tuesday. Received a call by noon Tuesday that the car was finished and the total cost was $626.55. Although the cost was much more than I anticipated, the cost to do the same at the dealership would have been north of a grand. Tom seemed very fair and honest and I'd definitely would do business with them again.
