Came home on a Monday afternoon and noticed the 18" X 19 ft main supporting beam in the garage ceiling was sagging about 8 inches and had a significant crack in it.  I bought an 8 ft 4x4 and temporarily supported the cracked beam using a floor jack.
I saw that Double Eagle Construction had done a nice job on rebuilding a front porch down the street so I called Steve Seay.  He came out the next day and recommended replacing the broken beam.  On Wednesday, after consulting with an engineer he called with a quote of $1,750 which I accepted.
On Thursday a crew of 5 men arrived about 8:30 with two 20 ft LVL manufactured beams.  After moving a number of stored items from the garage attic the crew removed the cracked beam and installed the new beams side-by-side.  This required the ceiling to be supported by a number of 2 x 4s extending from the floor while the ceiling was prepared and the new beams cut to the correct size.  
The crew was very professional and clearly knew what they were doing.  Their foreman, Darrell, apparently had over 40 years of structural framing experience and it showed.  The job was finished and cleaned up to my satisfaction by around 4PM.
Friday afternoon Steve Seay (pronounced "see") came by, inspected the work, and presented me with an invoice for $1,750.
I was very satisfied with the work quality and the speed at which it was completed.  I feel the price was fair.  I would not hesitate to use or recommend Double Eagle Construction for most any project.

Originally got Double Eagle Construction off Service Master.  Steve came out in March of 2012 and looked at what I wanted done. I told him I wanted it all done for about seven thousand dollars. He let me know at that point it was an unrealistic price. Steve was easy to talk with, he seemed to understand  what I knew and explained what I did not know; - so I doubled my dollars and called him back in Feb. of 2013.
 He gave me an estimate I could pay for  and started demolition the next week. Both Steve and his workers were easy to communicate with, flexible and  respectful of us and our household.  The project was finished within the time that I expected.  Even though I changed my mind on paint color -door styles and cabinet doors got lost; I now have the  bathrooms I envisioned !
No horror story, actually fun; spent more than I planned to and got exactly what I wanted ! 
Next year God willing,-- the master bath gutted and redone !
