I have a cat with an unusual problem. She needs to have her anal glands expressed every couple of months or she develops an abscess. We moved to Edmond from Florida where we had been having this done for several years. I called about 4 different veterinary offices and they all said they had never heard of this and that we'd have to pay for a regular office visit so the cat could be examined which would run from $75 to $100 plus another $75 or more for the cat to be sedated and have her glands expressed. When I called Danforth Animal Clinic and explained the situation, the veterinarian was familiar with the problem and said there was no need for the expensive office visit. I was able to bring my cat in and pay only $50 for the glandular expression with sedation. After several visits, they were even able to do it without sedating her, which cost only $15! I have since moved back to Florida, but would highly recommend them. They were extremely competent and reasonably priced :)

We have been using them for 12 years or may be more than that. They are very caring and kind with the animals. They take their time. They explain everything thoroughly. They are so kind. They work well with the animals and keep the animals calm.

Animal Grooming
It is very challenging to anyone to groom a cat and the lady is a cat whisperer. The previous person told me I had to get kitty Valium before they would groom her. This lady didn't have to give her anything and she came out fine and wasn't stressed out.

The grooming costs between $38 to $48, depending on the length of the coat. I will use them again in the future.

I thought the prices there were pretty reasonable they were about average. I called around first and then I had my dog groomed there. That was about the same as what I compared when I called around. I had no problem with any of the service they just seemed a little impersonal, like you did not meet the dog groomer. That is the only thing I had a problem with.

Took my cat in for some symptoms that were concerning me, and left her there for bloodwork--because the bloodwork was negative, vet also did an xray but didn't charge me for it. She recommended a prescription and a by-mail vet that could mix it into cat-treats, and identified some other tests...but was up front in telling me they were expensive and probably not helpful. She also said I didn't need to get the cat's teeth cleaned for awhile--I've NEVER had a vet not push a teethcleaning, even though hard food keeps her teeth reasonably clean. I appreciated her candor and her respect for my money. In all, she was extremely professional, caring, and dedicated, and the prices were well within what I would expect. The cat had to be lightly anesthetized for the bloodwork, and the office called me when she woke up, and followed up with a call the next day to make sure she hadn't suffered any lasting effects. I would definitely recommend this vet.

My 13 year old Westie has been taken care of by Danforth Animal Hospital since she was 6 weeks old. Dr. Ron Lauglin has been her primary doctor but have seen all the doctors in the clinic. They have all been wonderful. Now Dr. Laughlin's son (Adam) is one of the doctor's and he has been fabulous. They are all very caring doctors and you feel your pet is getting the best care possible. Although our westie is 13 years old, she is still in good health. She has slowed down, can't see or hear as well as she once did, I feel she still as a few more years and attribute a lot of that to the excellent care she has received!

Animal Boarding Kennels
Danforth Animal Clinic does all the medical care and medical maintenance along with kenneling. They get their own run and sleeping area. They are great with our pet. I would recommend their services. No exit bath is required here.
