Inspected and discovered what was wrong with my old laptop. Searched for new video card but unable to find one as old laptop was so outdated. I bought a computer, took it to them and Wayne knowing my usage said what I had bought did not have video card. I am not very computer literate as well over 65. He was so kind as to find me a laptop at Amazon which I purchased. It arrived at Computer Zone 2 days later. They set it up with all my gaming choices! It was within my price range and I love it.

I originally took my laptop in for a hardware problem and while it was there the mother board died (older computer). I opted to not have that repaired. Even though they had ordered parts and had put time into the computer, they did not charge me anything for their service. There were some miscommunication problems between my my husband, myself and the vendor, but those were our fault. These are very nice people who do excellent work.

The reason your laptop was here for a while because not only it had broken LCD hinges and cover, the motherboard was also defective, we hate to send it home without trying to fix it so we ordered several parts (took a while to locate them) that we thought were the problems but that did not fix it. We paid for all the parts and spent lots of hours trying to help but end up losing them all and that wasn’t a frame story. We then spoke to your husband about replacing the motherboard for this older laptop is not cost effective and he said will bring us a new laptop to transfer the data. We had been waiting since….. I agree that we should have called you more often to keep you in the loop, and I apologize for the inconvenience. We appreciate you giving us the opportunity to work for you."

We called both your home and cell phones the next day after you posted this review, unfortunately we didn't hear back from you. On May 9, 2013 (Thu). We charged you 6 hours of labor ($270) to perform the work below to make sure your MacMini is up-to-date and the Time Machine is setup and working correctly per your request. We did not experience any kind of locked up issue while working on your system in our labs. 1- Hard Drive Passed Diagnostic Test 2- Setup Time Machine, Backup Data To Client's External Hard Drive and Format Hard Drive 3- Install and Setup Mountain Lion Osx 4- Tested System Hardware 5- Created User Profile and Restored Data 6- Uninstalled Corrupted Carbonite 7- Ran Another Full Backup On May 13, 2013 (Mon), we performed the following service at your location ($75); 1 - Deliver and setup Mac Mini 2 - Customize settings to user preferences 3 - Tested printer - success 4 - Reinstalled Carbonite - success 5 - Answered questions On May 15, 2013 (Wed), we went to your house again and perform the following service ($75); 1 - Open Mac mini and remove dust bunnies from cooling system, use can duster to clean heatsink 2 - Add AdBlock Plus to Google Chrome browser 3 - Let customer test system and no further lockup issue found Quote from your review; "I hadn't been able to get in touch with them and in the meantime didn't to get to them again because they already charged me $400. They weren't going to give me any kind of a break, as far as they're concerned they came out and did the job." After seeing your review, I personally checked all the phone records and it showed that we HAVE NOT heard back from you since May 15. I am very sorry about the experience that you had with us but we always stand behind our work and we warranty our service for 30 days. I spoke to the same technician who went out to your house twice about this review and he mentioned that there were cat hairs where your place your Mac and he suggested to clean the cooling fan again to avoid overheating. We will be more than happy to open up the MacMini and check that for you if you can bring it us. Edmond is a small town and we don't like to have any unhappy customers. We have been in the business for 17 years and I can personally assure you that we don't run our business like you mention in the review. I would appreciate if you would give us another chance to make it right for you. "Hello Member, I am new to Angie's List and notice you were unhappy with our service in 2007, I sincerely apologize for that experience. Whenever a security software is causing problem, we will usually remove it completely and install a newer version from that company's website since you have already paid for it or try a different product. We DON'T recommend any customer picking up their system without having a working protection software. Base on the info that I have in the system, you were trying to get in touch with the software company to find out why it was causing your system to run slow and you end up paying us to remove it. I completely understand your frustration if they gave you the runaround. We are here to help, please let us know what we need to do to make it right for you. Thank you, Wayne Hing"
