 + -1 moreI applied for a loan through Cindy's web site. I provided additional information on the phone, and sent the documentation Cindy needed in order to make us a good faith estimate. A few days later we met at her office to review her estimate. I was disappointed to learn that the "Total Cost Analysis" Cindy promoted on her web site just compared one unnamed lender's rates, with varying prepaid points. Cindy downplayed the annual percentage rate (APR) as if it were irrelevant! The controllable closing costs and interest rates were higher than we found elsewhere. We did not apply for the loan with Brenner.
Description of Work: We applied for a conventional home loan with Brenner Mortgage through Cindy. Our loan needs were simple and straightforward. The quote Cindy offered us was higher than a large Oklahoma-based bank was offering at the time. We did not borrow from Brenner Mortgage.
