BIG JOHNS PLUMBING

John is a nice guy and we had used him before for minor problems. This was a major problem and while he fixed part of the problem he did not complete job. I understand he had other calls but he rerouted some of the piping though the linen closet and did not feel that was a problem. He also left big messes. We had to call another company out to fix the problem and pay them to put the reroute into the wall instead of linen closet. I just do not feel he is qualified to take on major repairs.



He did not charge me full price since he knew we were unhappy with results, in fact said he would not charge anything. We insisted on paying him for the leak he did fix.

Wonderful in every way!!! I have used John Tarbutton (big john) exclusively for 20+ years and I can honestly say he is the best! Kind, considerate, timely, excellent prices, clean, friendly and a true expert. I will never use anyone else. And neither will my mother or my sister-in-law.

I have used Big John's Plumbing for several years. Without exception, he always shows up on time, works fast (but thoroughly), cleans up after himself, and charges a fair price.







He does not do work that isn't necessary. On his last visit John suggested I consider delaying two jobs:







1. One job was minor and John said he could do the work but showed me how I could avoid any leaking and get more service before repairing.







2. He also suggested I could save money by delaying one major job. I wanted him to re-route some water lines to make changing the water well filter easier. When I told him I planned to replace the water purification unit in a few months, he suggested I let him change the filter at this time (no charge) and delay re-routing the lines until he installs the new unit a few months down the road, combining everything into one job since he would have to move the filter anyway when he installs the new purification unit.



The date of his last visit is an estimate.

Big John replaced the wax seals on my toilet. When that did not work he came out and replaced them again. The toilet still leaked. He said that the bowl itself was leaking. This sounded dubious. I replaced the toilet bowl and the leak stopped. The toilet was replaced by a plumber hired by Home Depot where I bought the new toilet. Big John did all I could expect of him. He was correct about the toilet bowl being the source of the leak.

After the initial estimate, I was a little concerned because I had a little trouble getting in touch to schedule the actual work. But there was nothing to worry about. Big John's made an extra effort to come out before Memorial Day so we could use our grill over the holiday. He arrived on time and was very efficient and friendly. He ran the line and took the time to relight our pilot lights before leaving. He made suggestions about paint to keep the connections from rusting. He charged exactly what he said he would. Our grill works great and we are very satisfied with Big John's plumbing.

He is wonderful and excellent, honest prompt, never had to come back after he fixed the pipes in our old house.

Big Johns Plumbing fixed my pipes and were very professional and did a quality job. He did not break anything and only took a couple of hours to complete the job. He did not make a mess and treated me like a valued customer. I would recommend this company.
