The repairman came out within two hours of my call on Sunday evening. He very carefully checked the door and made the necessary repairs. He was professional and courteous. We really appreciate the prompt service

One of our garage door springs broke over the weekend. I called Ace on Monday morning, requested a 1 hour window for arrival that afternoon, and it was granted. They called in advance, arrived exactly on time, and were done in less than an hour. The technician was courteous and answered my questions. He recommended 2 new springs and new rollers as my equipment was 13 years old, and the bearings were worn in the rollers. I accepted the recommendations. He made the repairs, adjusted and lubricated as needed, and now it functions like new (and very quietly). Thank you!

He was very honest, friendly, knowledgable, and thorough. It was complete for a very fair price and he fixed a couple things that the garage door installer had done incorrectly.

Hired Ace Garage Door to replace a storm damaged 16X7 door, they scheduled incredibly fast and had it installed just as quickly. Included new tracking and rollers. Technician was fast, and friendly.
I'm recommending Ace to all of my associates. Well done, couldn't be happier!

The provider called prior to arrival. I pointed out the problem - the garage door had begun to shut too hard. The repairman on-site did not know how to fix the problem, so he called another person with company who told him that the "pausi-lock" needed to be replaced and that Liftmaster warrantied their products. He proceeded to adjust the door by tightening the springs and attempted to "jerry-rig" the door so it did not shut as hard. I was going to have to contact the manufacturer to see if they would replace the pausi-lock. So obviously the recommended repair could not be done that day. Along the way he pointed out that the brace needed replacement, so I allowed him to repair that as well.
Two days later I walked into the dark garage to leave for the day and noticed daylight smiling at me from the floor on both sides of the door. My garage door faces north, so I wasn't happy that my garage door no longer sealed along the bottom and would allow cold air and dirt to increase. So I called the company again to let them know I wasn't happy with the way repairman had left my door. ( I assumed that was how he got the door to not shut as hard.) Same guy came out again - was a little defensive about his work and advised me it was because my concrete wasn't even that I was seeing light and that the rubber seal needed to be replaced too. That didn't sit well with me cause I knew that my garage door sealed prior to him working on it. The manufacturer had over-nighted the parts and I was ready to have it installed - since that was what they told me was really wrong with the door. But apparently he didn't want to replace so he did some more adjusting. I contacted the company again to express my displeasure in the work performed and they sent another person out to see what they could do. This was the guy who the first guy called initially and advised it was the pausi-lock. Well, this new guy decided it wasn't the pausi-lock and chose not to replace with the new part. He did some further adjusting and advised me not to put any more money into this garage door, but to replace the whole door next time.
Overall, the company was very responsive and I didn't pay that much money. But, it took 3 visits and I'm not really sure I have an accurate diagnosis. The door no longer shuts hard, but it makes more mechanical noises that before they touched it.
A neighbor referred this company, but I would not refer based on the fact it took 3 trips, I was made to feel a little uncomfortable on day 2 and I'm not sure what really transpired in those 3 trips. First guy is new to work. Maybe if they had sent the second guy first - someone who knew what they were doing, I would have a different opinion and wouldn't have needed 3 trips to develop my opinion.

I think they tried to talk us into a new garage door opener and we requested them not to do that. I don't think there was any other issue and we have not had any problems with the doors since.

Ace Garage Door Company came out to fix a broken spring that raises the garage door. They diagnosed the problem and then provided me with all my options to fix and the corresponding cost up front (one option was $119 for one spring and service call and the other option $174 two springs plus the service call). I found their recommendations to be honest and objective. Their prices were reasonable and even provided me with a discount off the service call when I mentioned that I was a Angie's List member. They were extremely punctual and eager to help. I would most certainly use them again.

I shopped around for a bit and found it to be a pleasant experience with 2 Edmond/North OKC garage door companies....one being Ace. They both were extremely helpful, nice and not pushy in any way. John Wester of Ace provided a better price, apples to apples, than others, though still pricey. He and his team were prompt and hard working, removing the old doors and all of the hardware (some others wanted to charge an extra fee for removal).
Installation was smooth and quick. Instruction was excellent. I wanted to wait a bit to review as things change/shift and may have a need for rturn service. Doors are quiet and work great.
John and his team were professional and courteous start to finish!
