Heating and Air Conditioning Service
The repairmen were punctual and nice, but they had no clue what they were doing.
They guessed at what the problem was, removed the wrong parts (compressor), could not re-install the
compressor the next day because they threw it in the trash pile at work the night before.
The replacement they ordered was the wrong model (they blamed the wholesaler).
Then, finally, the "guy who knows what to do" arrived - after the 2 repairmen called
him a dozen times. So he gets involved and decides to replace a valve/filter thingy.
2 weeks later they were finished, apologized for all that went wrong, and left. At that time
I had cold air blowing and all was well.
Now, with warmer weather here (six months later), I turn on the AC unit and get nothing
but hot air. After 2 hours of operation, the "check" light was illuminated on the thermostat.
There's no way I'm going to call Van & Co. again.
For what it's worth, my folks have had a very similar experience with Van & Co.
It seems the company has gone down the drain since the owner died and the widow sold the business.

1986, We built a new home in Cotton Co. Van & Co provided Geo thermal heating & cooling. To present, we have never had another co to service the unit.. Van & Co are pioneers & experts in their field. The system is a system that is easy on the nasal breathing. The nasal passages do not dry out. We have a effiecent system that has unlimited hot water in the summer.
