Worst experience of our lives! 3-4 day job not complete over 10 months later. Feb '06 chose retailer because product, warranty & installers are retailers paid employees (not subcontracted). $5,000 down to order materials & rip out started. Rip out: Installer caused significant damage interior walls in all rooms, attempted to hide at first. This 1st crew walked off job due to our complaints as we noticed gouges being made in wood while installing "we are being too picky". 2nd crew "finished" 4 weeks later, but install problems continued & remain uncorrected. Retailer: Took $ and has never once proactively initiated a single call to us. Damage: Retailer/Distributor claims flooring has manufacturer defectives. Manufacturer claims installer errors (damage/glue application). Status: 10+ months later walls & floor remain untouched w/o plan for resolution near future. Initiated dialog through BBB case# 38006303 in process yet Retailer not offer of suggested action plan/timetable.
