VIP HOME INSPECTIONS

Donald was very thorough with his work. Our builder had their own inspectors plus they hired a third party inspector. He decided this was not enough and we hired Donald to look after our best interest. He made several good catches throughout the inspection process. At one point our constuction superintendent commented that one item Donald pointed out probably justified every penny that we were paying him.

The furnace in this house was a big problem, and he gave me a lot of information about what should be done about it. Thanks to his very direct and clear assertions in the report, the sellers opted to get a certified HVAC inspector to inspect the furnace. The HVAC inspector backed up what Mark said, and the sellers are replacing the furnace. Mark's excellent inspection has already saved us thousands of dollars. The only negatives I have to say is they are the most expensive inspectors we found. However, we decided it was worth it, and we proved to be right. Also, the report didn't have as much detail in it as I expected from their samples. One or two things didn't make it into the report that I thought would. However, 99% of items were in the report with emphasis on the most important. Overall, the report was excellent, complete with color pictures of the important items. Overall, I give VIP an A. I was very pleased with then, and they have already saved me thousands of dollars.

Mark did an excellent job for us. We called on Saturday and was able to get him to come to the house on Monday. He was very punctual. We receive the report on Wednesday morning. Mark was very thorough and helpful in going through the house. The report was lengthy, concise and contained pictures with each deficiency. His report made it very easy to negotiate with the buyers.
