+ -1 moreAnother company said we had to replace our A/C but Bowman was able to repair it. It was quick and painless. They were very friendly. They had a lof a service calls but they were able to fit us in.

Description of Work: Don't know that this will count, but our house was built 20 years ago. Bowman's did the installation. We've recently had a new heat and air unit installed. When it kept running like the old one did, our current installer found the original ductwork had become disconnected and was never fastened securely together. After further investigation and part of the floor being removed, we discovered Bowman had cut through floor joists to run ductwork, a major code violation. Now we're wondering if the old unit wore out early because it was pulling in HOT attic air!

+ -1 moreThe Bowman salesperson arrived on time and quickly assessed the situation. He recommended a particular system and I felt comfortable with his assessment. I did upgrade the air handler unit to a more efficient one. The installation team arrived at the agreed-upon time and began the removal of the old system. After the air handler was removed they noted problems with the air plenum and offerred suggestions for other professionals to look at the plenum. I asked if they could re-line the plenum with sheet metal and they agreed to do so at no cost to me. The installation was probably more difficult than average but there were no complaints and no whining. The job was done in 100+ degree heat, and they cleaned up their debris and equipment. The 220 electricity had to be rewired since I had asked them to relocate the condenser unit, and they do not offer that service - I had to get an electrician to the site for that work, which did add to the total cost. The final cost was exactly as quoted and the equipment appears to be functioning better than I had hoped.
