ACCURATE HEAT & AIR

He installed the ductwork and put the ac unit outside. He neglected to put the ac unit on a slab. He told us he would be back later to finish the job We called numerous times and was informed that he was on another job and would come the next day. We again called. He said it would be about 3 days before he could get back to us. 

We finally had another air condition company come out and look to see what it would be to finish the job.  While looking at the ducting, the man informed us that the ducting was the incorrect size for the specs for the county.  He said they would have to be removed and the correct size reinstalled.  He also informed that he would not have put the duct in work in as the previous man because it was waste full.  Instead of maybe taking a duct directly to a vent, it had been curved around - causing the air to go further to the vent than it needed to.  

The new air conditioner man also checked our outside unit.  He advised us that the outside unit was a year old already.  Luckily, it has a five year warranty, but we have already lost one year and have not even had it turned on. 

At the time the gentleman from Accurate Heat and Air was installying the air ducts he kept insisting that due to our location, the work would not have to be inspected by the count.  He seemed to be in a hurry to finish the job.

When the county inspector came out to inspect the plumbing, he was also the a/c inspector.  He told us that the ducts Accurate had put in would not meet code and had to be replaced.

We paid $5100 for the wrong size of ducts.  He never came back to finish the work.  Now we have had to pay an additional $3000.00 to put the correct ducts in.
