AZTEC OVERHEAD DOOR INC

I purchased a garage door at Lowes Aztec Over Head 2 several days later Aztec calls me on a Wednesday telling me my door is in and they want to install it on Friday. I indicate I cannot be available until the following week so they schedule it for the following Wednesday 11/22/2017 they tell me I will get a call that day with an appointment time. I call the day before the appointment and they assure they will be there on the 22nd... Most of the day goes by no call I call them and all I get is a voice mail. Finally at 3:33pm the installer calls and says they will not be coming feeding lines that they had people call in when I state that is unacceptable I have been waiting all day the installer said that was not his problem. He then said we just got the door today anyway... this goes totally against the fact they wanted to schedule to install the door the previous Friday... when I said I would be filing a complaint he said go ahead... when I indicated this was not acceptable business practice and that maybe I should go back to Lowes and cancel the whole order his words were "go ahead I do not care it makes no difference to me" I went back to Lowes and they were unable to make contact with the company... At this point I have no way to know when the work already paid for will be completed or if it will be... This installers attitude and the general fact I was unable to reach anyone in their management while they had work scheduled to be going on is unacceptable and needs to be addressed... This incident has likely cost Lowes a customer as i doubt after the experience with this contractor i will ever again make any large purchases from Lowes knowing they work with contractors such as this one...

Everything went just great.

They have high rating on professionalism, service and clean up. They were very good. I would knock them down a little bit on high cost and not responding very well in the quoting phase. When they finally did the work it was excellent.

I can't speak to the actual cost of the repair as this was covered under
our home insurance, but the work was done quickly seems to be of good
quality.

Aztec worked around my schedule and came out and replaced it in time to get it covered by the warranty so it only cost me $60 instead of $360. They did a great job and worked around some electrical issues to make it a safe installation. I'll be contacting them shortly to get a new garage door to go with the new opener.

Overall the garage door replacement went well. I wish they would have matched the paint between the 2 garage doors a little bit better though.

I believe I called them on Tuesday late afternoon but they were not able to come until Thursday morning.  They promised to call first.   Thursday morning they didn't call so I called them.  The man apologized and said that somehow they had overlooked our request.  He said he would be at our house in 15 minutes and he was!  The door had two springs and he recommended that both be replaced.  I agreed.  It took only a few minutes and the work was finished.

THEY SHOWED UP WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, AND THEY WERE VERY NEAT. THEY MADE SURE TO CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THE PRICES WERE AFFORDABLE AND THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL.

THEY WERE VERY CORDIAL AND POLITE. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND IMMEDIATELY GOT TO WORK. THEY WORKED QUICKLY AND THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT AS WELL AS THEIR WORKMANSHIP WAS TERRIFIC.

THEY MADE IT TO MY PLACE RIGHT ON TIME AND THEY WERE READY TO WORK. THE EMPLOYEE THAT ARRIVED WAS VERY THOUGHTFUL AND OUTGOING, I WAS GLAD HE SHOWED UP. I WOULD NOT OF WANTED IT ANY OTHER WAY.

THEY DID NOT RETURN TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS AFTER THE INITIAL INSTALLATION AND DID NOT CHARGE US FOR ADJUSTMENT. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND RELIABLE THOUGH.
