Real Estate Service
We first contacted Keller Williams Realty in November of 2012 to establish a relationship with a realtor and discuss and fine tune our needs for a home in OKC when we moved in the spring of 2013.  We were introduced to a young woman who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we spent a day looking at homes and getting to know each other.  We met the next day and looked at more homes and flew home with a house in mind.  We contacted the realtor early the next week and over the phone (as we lived out of state) we initiated a contingency offer on the home.  We were very impressed with our realtor's ability to answer all our questions and concerns.  The offer was not accepted.  We made subsequent visits to OKC and met with the realtor a few more times. We settled on a new home (under construction).  There was really no need for a realtor at that point as the builder  and the builder's lender handles all details, but we decided to keep the realtor in the loop as she'd already spent time with us and it seemed only fair. We heard very little from her after that (as we'd suspected, most everything was arranged by the builder's rep) and the few times we tried to reach her, she was extremely slow to respond, and we gave up on her and directed our questions to the rep.
A week before closing on the home, we did a walkthrough and found some problems with upgrades we'd ordered.  We got into a dispute with the builder (Four Corners).  The builder would not make good on what we'd asked for and did not get so we backed out of the contract.  I called the realtor when I realized we were back in the market and when I reached her on the phone, she told me she was reluctant to help me because she felt we were not really serious about buying a home and that we should have accepted the builders' screw-ups.  She was very cold and critical.  At a time when we were reeling over this sudden change in plans, our realtor dumped us.
I flew home, had our furniture put into storage (an extra 1700.00) and found another realtor, this time with ReMax.  This lady was more mature, way more accommodating and on our first day with her, we found a home we love and wrote an offer.  By the next day, we had a contract.
We took possession of the new home on a Sunday and were met by our realtor and the realtor for the seller.  The seller's realtor was also with Keller Williams (different location) and she was terrific.  She'd gotten in the night before from a week-long vacation out of town and was in spite of that, cheerful and helpful.
I have no real issue with Keller Williams - but my advice is to avoid the young woman who works at the Choctaw location.  She's got a lot to learn about customer service.
