They were conscientious and the quote was for interior painting. Their professionalism was very good. The bid was fair and they kept me informed. They reason why I did not go with them was because of my insurance.

The service went very well. A crew of 4 came out and completed the job in 2 days. They did a fine job and were efficient. They provided a great service and did a nice job with the cleanup afterwards. Scheduling was very easy.

Great! We started the project late so it got about half done before full blown winter came.  Some days they would plan to work and then the weather would end up not cooperating.  Either way, the job finally got finished and my house looks fantastic, its like a whole new place.

Bill & Anna Patterson are very nice to work with, they helped me with color selections and I am very happy with the results.  Bill pays very close attention to detail and his work is excellent.  He is very intent on seeing that the job is done right and the customer is satisfied.  They happened to have a cancellation and were able to work me in within a few days and gave me a break in the price to fit my budget.  I have already arranged for him to do more work for me, hang ceiling fans and new light fixtures.  We have also talked about painting the rest of the interior and some other repairs.

If I could give Patterson Painting an A++ I would in a heartbeat.  I called to get an estimate on the work I needed done.  When it came time for the estimate visit, Bill showed up on time and gave us a very reasonable estimate.  Other places we had gotten bids from was anywhere from $250-$450 higher and would take probably two days to complete the work.  The scheduled day for the work to be performed arrived and Bill and Mike showed up and immediately went to work.  They moved a couple of pieces of furniture that I couldn't, laid plastic over my kitchen and bathroom floors, and started the repair work.  I wanted to keep the same color in both the bathroom and kitchen area and the paint was matched perfectly.  The work was started at approximately 10:00 a.m. and completed around 3:00 p.m.  Everything was picked up, cleaned up and not one drop of paint left behind.  Both Bill and Mike were as professional as they could be and did not waste time chitchatting.  Would I recommend Patterson Painting?  Without a doubt!  You will not go wrong by choosing this company.  And let me add, if a time needed to be changed, I received a call ahead of time so that I wasn't left just sitting there.  This is a small but top-notch organization.  Give them a call.  You won't be sorry!

Bill did an outstanding paint job! No messes left after job complete. After job was done and he'd been paid, He even came back to apply another coat of paint on ceiling when I asked! His wife Anna calls to update when he will arrive and to see if I was satisfied.

Let me first start by saying that I picked a terrible time of the year to have the exterior of my house painted.  I had started the process a couple of  months earlier and waited on another company to give me an estimate.  After 6-8 weeks of waiting and still no response, I began searching on Angie's List.  I was looking for a company that could address all of my needs including repairing wood rot, replacing soffits and fascia boards, the re-roofing of the patio and painting. I called several companies I had found whose ads indicated that they could do that but nobody other than Patterson really could do everything I needed.  I was able to get estimates from various companies for various parts but nobody could do it all except Patterson. Taking all of the other companies estimates for the various parts and adding them together, Patterson completed all for approximately $600 below the other companies and I didn't have to coordinate with three different companies.  I received their estimate on 11/10/13 approximately 2-3 days after I requested it.  I was having difficulty choosing a color so the owner and his wife came by, painted a few areas with different colors and helped me pick the color.  They began work about a week later.  There were some delays in the beginning for things that are typical for this type of service (their truck was in the shop and they had a painter quit) and then the weather hit.  The work was completed on 12/28/13.  Every time there was a delay, Anna was good to call me and explain why and when they expected to be back out. I feel like all delays were completely reasonable in both circumstance and length of time.   I feel like they really went above and beyond in a couple of areas.  I had told Bill Patterson that if he couldn't get the painting done before I put up my Christmas lights (I never miss putting up my lights) that I would paint those fascia boards myself after I took the lights down.  Because of the weather, those boards couldn't be painted and I went ahead and put up my lights.  When the weather cleared and they came back out, they took the lights down, painted the boards and put them back up.  I also feel like they went above and beyond just in taking on my house.  I have a very steep roof line on a larger two story house and they really didn't even bat an eye at the challenge.  After the job was completed, they had me walk around the outside with the painter and point out any places where I had concerns and then addressed them prior to leaving my property.   Prior to leaving the final time, they raked my yard to make sure that they had removed all debris.  I feel like they completed the work in a timely manner given the circumstances and did a great job. Obviously the longevity of the work will not be know until later but they guarantee their work and as of now, I haven't noticed any errors or had any concerns regarding the quality of their work.   The final price was higher than the original estimate but it is because the back patio had more damage than what we had originally thought.  I felt the additional cost was very reasonable for the additional work.  In short, I would have no concerns at all about hiring this company in the future and they were able to do everything I was looking for where no other company could.  They did it in a timely manner, with good quality and for a reasonable price.

Overall good service and good at contacting me with any problems or updates. They didn't do the best job of estimating materials cost so I had to pay about 10% more than we agreed upon upfront. They are a small shop so they don't have wiggle room for error on their tangible expenses. It took them several days longer to start and finish the job but they did help me out on short notice. I would overall recommend them to a friend.

Let me be clear that they were very good to work with and I would recommend them to anyone that needs interior painting done. They covered all the extra labor from the additional rooms and helped me out in a pinch. I strongly recommend you have them bid your job. I still leave punctuality at a "B" as they missed showing up for the original bid appointment but made it on the next scheduled meet. They started a few days later than they initially said and that is likely because they were fitting me in on short notice after another job they were doing out of town. They also worked with me to get insurance coverage to match my desires.

"We gave him a generous price break on his project due to having a small break of work on our schedule. A good friend of ours referred us to him. So we knew his circumstances and met them. So yes, we did not have any wiggle room for any issues with this project. 30% of this project was to be touch ups only with paint that he had in his garage to be supplied. Well, none of the paint matched (except 1 room) and that is why he paid about $130 extra in paint. We did spare him additional labor charges being nice guys. We ended up repainting all of the areas in full with exception to 1 room. This is why it took more time than originally expected. Then we included afterwards another room that was not mentioned at the estimate and thankfully that touch up paint matched. We did sheetrock repairs and touched up this room as well at no additional cost. I am only commenting on this because I felt the whole story needed to be told."

The work turned out great! What I liked most about them is their reliability. I dealt closely with Anna Patterson. They completed the job in less than a week and cleaned up well after themselves. If you need any painting done, I highly recommend you call Patterson Painting and save yourself a lot of time and headache.

I am very impressed with Mike and Bill! They are dependable and pay close attention to detail. I wish I could post before and after pictures of the exterior of my house. You would be amazed. They did a FABULOUS job! I definitely highly recommend Patterson Painting with no reservations.
They are starting to paint the complete interior, including doors and cabinets. I can't wait to see their finished work!

Initial contact via email was on 9 August.
We scheduled a walk through for 3:00 on Saturday 17 August to explain all the
areas I wanted painted and what repairs I was requesting. Bill was
delayed, but his wife called about an hour before the appointment time to ask me
if it was alright if they came an hour or two later. She explained they
had a rush job they needed to complete. The delay was alright with me as
I had things to do and wasn't inconvenienced by the delay.
Patterson's itemized quote was emailed to me on Monday, 19 August with
price break down and description of each area we had discussed. This was
wonderful in case I only wanted to do a portion of the work performed if things
came in over my budget. Also, I already had a quote from another company broken
down similarly which made it easy to compare prices. These break downs by
job or room would allow me to use more than one contractor if pricing had been
an issue.
After comparing the 2 quotes, I chose Patterson Painting.
Both quotes pricing included the paint which was purchased by
contractor unless he was touching up a small area and I had existing paint.
Bill uses mostly Sherwin Williams as he prefers it due their durability
and coverage.
Bill had some available time before his next job, so we were able to start
quickly.
On the 20th I made a down payment (approximately 1/4 of the quote) for
supplies. He began painting and repairs the next day. Sometimes it was
only Bill and occasionally he had a helper. Both were great painters,
cleaned up daily, were quiet and hardly knew they were in the house.
I loved the fact that the paint had NO odor too!
When about 3/4 of the work was completed satisfactorily, I submitted another
payment of about 1/2 the quoted total. The final payment was made today
when work was completed. I had, as often happens, found 2-3 things additional
to be painted and again, Bill was at or under my previous quotes.
My only "negative" comment is that when he was not able to come as
scheduled, we were not always notified right away.
Do not be misled by the company name. Patterson Painting can do much more
than paint. Bill is a handy man who can also fix many other things
(woodwork, sheet rock, tile, etc.). He was helpful to get me contacts for
complete destruction and replacement of my small cracked concrete porch and a seam
repair of my generic Corian countertop.
We had several full days of work, but not necessarily all sequential due to
either his other commitments or mine. I was not in a big hurry, so it was
okay with me.
I will be contacting him again soon to quote some more work including painting
my garage and replacing some kitchen and bathroom tile.

"We completed this project for [member name removed]. She was very happy when we finished. We warned her that it was not the best weather for concrete work but if the step failed we would come back out. This is the first mention that we have heard about the step. She has not mentioned this to us at all. I just got on here to read my reviews and saw this. When we installed her tile we explained that the morter is wet and they need to keep off of tile for 24 hours. Shortly later their dog was walking on the floor. This may explain the unlevel tile or just the slab foundation may be unlevel in general. We have no problem correcting the issue. I had to go out of town to handle a issue with my son so that is why I was out of pocket. I never gave a date or time to arrive to fix this. Simply an idea of when I thought I could arrive. Life happens sometimes. Please see my other reviews before judging us on this. Thanks, Bill Patterson"

I called the company to get a quote to paint the exterior of our house after seeing their ad with a coupon for a discount towards the cost of work in the paper.  The painter came out within the week and gave me two estimates - the first was for just the siding and window trim, the second for the entire paintable exterior.   My husband and I thought his price was reasonable enough to go with the latter.  The company only asked for $800 up front to pay for materials with the balance due upon completion of the work.
The painters used a very good quality paint (Sherwinn-Williams, 25 year warranty) and were really patient while I picked colors and then changed my mind a couple of times after seeing samples. The work was done almost exclusively by the owner of the company and one assistant, both of whom were personable yet professional and did an excellent job.
Because this company is almost a one-man show, there were several delays in the completion of the work. I cannot overstate our overall satisfaction with the paint job; however, we were frustrated by the number of times the work had to be re-scheduled. To be fair, some of the delays were due to weather and on occasion, an assistant called off sick. While we made it clear from the on-set that we were not in a big hurry to have the house painted, just wanted the work done before winter weather hit but were still surprised by the many interruptions.
We would highly recommend this company for painting IF you are not in a hurry for the work to be done and your timeline is somewhat flexible. We have actually requested an estimate for some interior painting from this company but are still waiting to hear back.

"Thank you member for your wonderful response. Yes we had a little bit of delays but that happens with alot of contractors. We cannot control weather, people showing up to work and such. I understand that frustration first hand! On top of that it was the busiest time of our season. We do strive to give a excellent final outcome. With interior projects we don't have weather issues and such. We don't like to leave the interior of peoples homes without people working everyday because it is your home! Your life is disrupted while inside so we pay extra attention to your needs in getting it completed in a timely manner. As a company sometimes we have up to 8 painters and other times only as many as 2. It depends on sales, demand and how many reliable people we can find. We do go through some painters every year but our top guys have been with us for many, many years. Bill was just reminded that he had to give you a price for the two bathrooms. We have had such a rush for exterior paint jobs before winter sets in so he apologizes. I believe you have the quote for the other rooms from when we submitted the initial bid for the exterior and interior. If I am incorrect please call me at 918-437-2800. Thanks for the nice review and I hope I answered any of your concerns. We will see you this week with your samples. Anna Patterson"
