SOUTH TULSA IRRIGATION

I had a tree removed, and when the tree people ground the stump, they chewed up two PVC pipe sections, leaving a gap approximately 8 inches long in each pipe. I called 6 or 7 sprinkler companies. Mostly just got answering machines. The ones that did answer, could not come out till Monday. This was Friday. I really wanted to get it fixed that day. I called South Tulsa Irrigation, and the person that answered gave me the cell number to the technician. I called him, and he answered and asked me about my problem. He was able to come two hours later, fitting me between jobs. He fixed it, and tested it, and then even filled the hole back in for me with the stump mulch! He was friendly and fast and efficient!
He wrote out a bill which was the same price as the dispatcher had quoted. It was $100 for the service call, and then the price of the parts. The other companies I found had an hourly fee quoted, and this was called a service call fee. I'm not sure if that means that if the fix took longer than an hour it would have been a higher quote or not. From my description, the dispatcher probably knew it would be less than an hour to fix.
