I needed the carpet cleaned in the house we had been renting in. We had 4 small dogs, that are rescues, and needless to say, I knew they were not very well housebroken... Jeff came over with his blacklight, and we went thru the house and could see exactly where they had pee'd... I was mortified to see just how bad my babys really were. Honestly I thought for sure we was going to loose our deposit. Jeff was very professional and considerate, he has chemicals to deal with this and he explained everything he was doing every step of the way. When he left the house smelled fresh and the carpets looked brand new...We did get our deposit back :) After we got moved I had Jeff come to the new house, and clean the carpet in the 3 rooms we did not put vinyl flooring in, and they looked brand new after. I had him clean our windows inside and out a couple days later as the house was built in 2006 and looked like the outside had ever been clean, he made them shine! I have nothing bad to say about Jeff, he works his behind off, does a great job and I felt like I made a friend!
I would never use anybody else "Quality Assurance Carpet Care" is the only carpet cleaner I'd call. He is honest, and I never felt that I over paid. He told me how much it would be and stuck to it.
"Thank you for the wonderful review of my company services. It was a pleasure to serve such fine people like yourselves. I look forward to providing my services for you in the future as well."

The kicker for me was I live in a rural area of a community outside of a metro. He asked me for an address to google map or mapquest it. I told him that wasn't possible with our addresses due to the county in which we live got behind on their 911 addresses and although we've been given addresses, the vendors with whom put out the GPS data, has not yet updated. He was persistent that he could. I explained to him again that it could not. I asked him to take down directions. He proceeded to tell me he would call me the day of and get them. (BTW: He had told me there would be a travel charge, which I'm used to). So that he could be accurate in his estimate of travel charges, I told him to google from his location to the hown proper and add 5.5 miles and he would be accurate. He did that while on the phone and gave me an estimate.
The day of, he calls me and he is lost somewhere out in the area because he tried to google map it. I told him that because the roads deadend and curve that I couldn't tell exactly where he was and therefore could not guide him to the house. I told him he needed to go to the town and to a certain convenient store and call me back and I would give him directions from there. He didn't. He called me again, still lost. I, being on the phone at work, had lost my patience and told him to call my husband who was at the house waiting on him. He finally made it there but then he calls me again and tells me the price is higher and more than $20. I told him I had explained to him that the LR was a larger than normal, but he was persistent and also told me that the travel charge would be more. I asked him why and he said because his odometer read different than Google. I told him I was not going to pay for him getting lost. He said he wasn't, but because he was already there, driven more than 30 miles to get there, I asked him if he would go back to his orginal estimate of the travel charges that I would be ok and to go forward. He, at first, bawked and I explained that he was already there, what's $5?
At this point, I was very concerned about his serviceses and called my husband and advised him of the situation and to make sure his job was good or make him redo before he is paid. After it was all said and done, he did an awesome job.
When in doubt about an area unfamiliar to you PLUS on country roads, take the advice of those who know it well.
"Lol... Well, when your in this business as long as I have been, you are bound to come across someone who will find some reason to rip you one, no matter how far you bend backwards to help them out? What I told this customer was that I would call her when I got into Haskell, OK, if I had problems finding this place. Yes, I did get misdirected (based on Google Maps) and that is when I called this customer, who had no clue where I was at and told me to get farther into Haskell and to call her when I did, but by then, she was acting very impatient and told me to call her husband to get proper directions. When I called him, he knew exactly where I was at and he gave me clear directions to this rental that he was preparing. However, this place is located way out of town on a long gravel road in the middle of the sticks some where? Quite frankly, all of this rhetoric about getting lost in the sticks is not even the point behind leaving reviews for contractors on Angie's List?? This customer relentlessly tried to pin me down on an exact price over the phone. I told her several times that I do not give exact price quotes over the phone, but an estimated cost of my services based on square footage of the carpet areas needed to be cleaned. Then she persisted with trying to get me to agree on charging not more than $20 over my phone estimate? I told her that I would be happy to call her with a exact quoted price once I get there and assess the carpet. However, when I did call her, she started nic picking just about everything on my quote and accusing me of overcharging her because I had trouble finding this place, which I would not do? Then she told me that if I dropped the quote from $185 to $180; that she would agree to have me do the work for this price. As a side note, I give customers free quotes in person and so when I called her with this quote, she was free to entertain other quotes from my competition if she felt it necessary, but she DID agree to this price and verbally wanted me do the work over the phone. So, I don't understand why she graded my pricing with an F, other than just being spiteful? She then proceeded to bully her husband over the phone into scrutinizing my work while I was doing it, which was great because both him AND the renters testified that the work I performed was an "awesome job!" Her combined living room and front room was 511 square feet, which amounts to $85 @ .166 cents per square foot (or $25 per 150 sq ft), but I only charged here $75 for the quote and $30 for the mileage on top of $25 off on her five area special to give her a price break, which was a combined savings of over $40 off her carpet cleaning plus mileage costs. I would say that a 3 bedroom house with a large living room, hallway, and front room (or dining room) being cleaned for $180 (including mileage out to Haskell, OK from Broken Arrow, OK) is a very good deal for the money. My assessment of their carpet was that it was very dirty and had a lot of foot traffic dirt, construction dust, and joint compound stuck in it from all the construction work done. Normally, I charge extra for vacuuming, if needed, but I left that charge off to help her out too? I did the best work that I could with a good and professional attitude in hopes of securing future business from this ordeal with her. In the end, her husband and the renters were very pleased with the outcome. Her husband an the renters both asked for extra business cards to hand out to their friends and family for future leads. This is why I don't understand why I got a rather nasty review? If I had done all this work for free, would my review been different? Something to think about??"

I will definitely recommend him and use him to clean my carpets when needed or any other upholstered pieces.

"The customer called me up and told me he wanted the carpeted areas done, the tile utility room, the tile kitchen, and possibly other tiled areas. He said he had to close on the house and would be over after the closing. So he sends his father over to the house, but did not inform him exactly what he wanted done? So, when I tried to find out, his father started calling him to get answers, but nobody responded to the calls. Anyway, I decided to just do all the tiled areas and this is where I assumed wrong. When he called back, he got upset because I cleaned more areas then he wanted me too. So, instead of engaging in an argument with him, I politely took the two bathrooms off the tab and apologized to him and his wife for the misunderstanding. I also told him to consider the two bathrooms a house warming gift from my company with a smile and we shook hands over it. Then he writes about it on Angie's List. Common sense would dictate that when you hire someone to do work, you meet with them and give them clear instructions as to which areas you want done or you leave clear instructions with someone who will manage the project properly."
