They seemed professional and timely. However their bid was $2900 and the other 2 bids I received for the same job was $1250 and $1300. I asked Goodman Concrete "what the code was for maximium step height in our area" and he said he didn't think was a code. There is (maximium step height is 7 7/8"). Needless to say I went with the other contractor.

GREAT! Before I hired Goodman I had another contractor quote a thin "overlay" using gypcrete. When I called the gypcrete manufacturer they assured me that if I have a crack in my existing slab, the overlay will crack in the same spot, and will probably pop up if anything heavy is dropped on it. Goodman Concrete doesn't even do overlays because they "stand by their work." I dodged a bullet in quality, and in price as well. Goodman's price to pour a true reinforced concrete slab was $200 less than the quote for the overlay! They were professional and friendly, and they did an excellent job, even in the cleanup. The new surface is perfectly level and the finish looks great. I can't wait to stain it. I highly recommend Goodman Concrete!

They gave me a bid which I accepted, then dragged their feet for weeks in giving me a firm start date, coming up with one excuse after another (another job took longer than expected, a job for an important business partner, liability insurance had lapsed, etc. etc.). Finally committed to a date, then called on the day they were supposed to start to say they'd gotten a big contract to work out of state and would not be doing any work in Tulsa for several months. I feel they were never serious about taking on my job in the first place, but wanted it as a fall back in case nothing else came along. Estimated cost was $10,500.

His pricing was very reasonable and his clean up was marvelous, he didn't leave a mess or anything. We really like working with him. He is very punctual and does a very good job.
